I would agree with you but at least 3 seperate doctors have said the same thing.

    1. Rockets team doctors
    2. Phoenix team doctors
    3. Dr. Andrews

So, it comes down to credibility, who has more...the doctors, or the patient?

I'd like to see who the doctors are that say he DOES need surgery. The opinions of Dr. Clanton and Dr. Andrews have been trusted by the most elite athletes, why all of a sudden are we disagreeing with them?? Also, where is a statement from the team? This doesn't seem like the way an organization acts when its "star" is lost for the season...

I consider all the recent TMAC drama some kind of power play, as Dr. Roc mentioned before.

TMAC is one party of the the power play. there are 3 other parties: the Organization, Ron, other Rox players.

Ron is the main foe. He called TMAC out, disrespected him(remember the laugh on the missed dunk), has utterly no chemistry with him, and when a trade is wanted, TMAC and Ron are the only 2 major options. thus TMAC don't want to sit out despite of his poor conditions, he need Ron start from bench, and he need prevailing image, at least over ron.and that's why he talked back harsh imediately after Ron called him out, while not in Rafer's case.

other players are not friends. they took a silent side(maybe not too silent for rafer). TMAC NEED to be the Man, at least one of the Duo. but he can't be with his present physical and mental status. so he need all kinds of injury excuses to keep himself from being RECOGNIZED as lost the leading role. some injury are true, some exanggerated, some not true. the fact he IS somewhat injured provided him the means. Here comes the inconsistency and in-and-out, painful for all 4 parties, but TMAC can't help it, he need to be the man to play on.

the Org is the party with whom real power clash happens. they have the power to sit him, bench him, un-list him, trade him. as long as no trading him, a 20M superstar also has power over the Org. that's why TMAC killed the trading possibility for himself with sharp timing. the media guy SAS was used. after all, a mere call can be vague, there could be context, SAS could be the sensationist. thus TMAC keeps his power, over Les,Daryl and Rick.

I have no doubt TMAC wants to win with Rox. that's why he can't let go all the in-and-out and drama and power play. I also have no doubt there won't be a microfracture operation, this year. He will be back playing along. A play-off 2nd round WITH HIS LEADING is enough to kill all feud and woe.

The most lousy party is the Rox Org. TMAC left them no choice but to play along. and, despite of all their feelings about the turmoil and drama,, they really can't get on him in any way later, if TMAC made to the 2nd round.

I am pretty much speechless. Have you ever heard of something like this? I like to support our players, and I understand if you are hurting, but why not take three or four weeks off to see if that helps? If not, you are no further behind than if you would have had the surgery immediately. I just don't get it, don't it at all.

Let's go Rockets! We played lights out last night, and we have thirty more games.

Am thinking this is a move from Morey , so insurance can pay the rest of Tmacs contract.

Tracy is a joke. He finally found a doctor that would give him the diagnosis he's wanted. He's said he was gong to need micro fracture surgery, yet the MRIs weren't revealing any issues, so McFailure flew to NY and to find one that will agree with his assessments and in the process makes himself untradable. Well played.

He's done as a Rocket, it took a young Amare Stoudemire 1 1/2 to come back and we know Shemac will wait until the start of next season to have the surgery, which puts us in a good position to have an expiring contract in 2010.

We are going to get Dwayne Wade if he doesn't reup.

    sigh whatever.
we still have a pretty decent team to cheer for. it's disappointing to see tmac go out like this cuz im still a big fan of his game when he's healthy but im done making guesses/assumptions and all that. i wish him well.
now lets put all the drama behind and just freakin play ball.

Get well, Tracy. For the haters, Tracy is not the first super star to get injured. Hope he comes back strong.

Anybody for tanking? Might be time for Yao to have an injury.

this is just my opinion, but i dont think people have microfracture surgeries just to prove people wrong or to get someone traded.

i still believe that this is legitimate.

He has not had the microfracture surgery, and just last week he said he didn't need it.

Now, he says he does.....the doctors say he needs rehab.

Heck, I don't know but I wish that he was DEDICATED ENOUGH TO at least TRY the rehab first.

I mean to sit there and whine about his knee hurting, and still having NOT DONE THE DOG GONE REHAB....is mind numbing.

It is just sickening, the guy needs a smack upside the head, and a lesson in grow the _ up.

You really need to stick to the D&D, at least there you know what you are talking about.

    :D

The team is better and a contender THIS year without Tmac.....plug in Artest, and away they go..

The waiting on Tmac is what has been killing this team more than anything else.

Problem with Tmac on all the following.
    * Waits until the last possible minute to have original surgery
    * Doesn't put in the time to rehab
    * Plays poorly in the beginning of season (surprise)
    * Every notable physician he checks with says he needs to play through the injury
    * He sits out in December and says I'm not coming back until I can play at full strength
    * Works out 2 weeks at home and announces on his personal TV station Channel 2. I'm ready to go full strength.
    * Looks horrible upon his return, Ron and Rafer call him out about his D and Ron laughs at him for becoming an NBA blooper.
    * Goes on his personal TV Station, yes you guest it Channel 2 and says everyone needs to stop talking
    * Sits out 2 more games and diagnosis his needs as microfracture surgery

WELCOME THE NEW DR. TMAC. Bottom line he is done mentally and physically.

Didn't T-Mac say he was back? Felt great?

And now he is out for the season?

PLEASE do not let the door hit your weak ass on the way OUT!

The best thing to happen would be that the Rocks win a championship without him.

And for those who say I may be hating on Tracy...Yao is one more injury from me wanting to get rid of his "everytime I go up for a dunk I get blocked and every time I go up for a block I get a facial" ass out of here also.
