you know honestly if tracy does this to sabatoge the team to stay in houston (from reading feigan's blog response a few posts above) i will be through with him completely...nothing short of winning a championship this season could redeem him in my eyes. teams obvious trade players at a whim and most of the time it sucks but the guy is making superstar money and has not played at a super star level and from my perspective most of that is his own fault when it came to rehab... I know people say that only mcgrady knows what he is going through but I will still believe the advice of the top medical doctors in that field who have looked over the X-rays and MRIs any day of the week.
Of course, McGrady was worried about being traded even though Leslie Alexander made it clear he had no intentions of trading him. He's evil like that, Darth McGrady. He's constantly trying to figure out ways to screw over his team and hamstring them so that they can be losers while paying him to do nothing. Von Skywalker will save us from the evil lord of the Sith.
Wait a minute ... so McGrady announces his out for the season but he still has an appointment for a another opinion on Wednesday?
its all reports...why the eff would the rockets not comment and if the MRI came back saying he was all good why the hell would he even need surgery
Any chance the rox have been waiting to put mac on the IL so he can get traded. Who wouldn't want his expired contract in 2010?
Tmac was a great player, staight out of highschool, always got anything we wanted because of his talent. And with that comes immaturity and the lack of ability to be responsible when given news that isnt what he wanted to hear. In the past 48 hours he has probably heard numorous things about his injury and the rockets trying to move him before the trade deadline. So he did whatever he could have done in order to get "over" on the situation. In this case it was completely leaving his organization out to dry and reporting news of his injury by himself with national media. Completely unnessesary thing to do and I cant stand it. Not only has he done zip for this organization from a winning perspective, but when he feels his time is running short here, he does whatever he could to disrupt the situation. Go ahead and feel bad for the guy from a "human being" perspective, because thats the right thing to do, his livelyhood is being taken away. But as a rockets fan I feel no pity for the man, he took advantage of the situation and now my team is going to have to suffer because he felt like he was above the organization.
I agree...if suddenly it becomes... "Tmac decides not to have surgery..." I'm officially done supporting the guy and nothing short of a WCF birth would redeem him.
Well, Bobby, Head->Artest, Wafer Brooks then->Brooks now Tmac->Yao, Shane "the Kobe stopper"->? Dike then->Dike now Let's wait and see, I really wish Yao can stand up tall, no excuse this time.
Doesn't really confirm IT just confirms the report by SAS itself...it would be funny if thursday he comes out and says it was a false report. Arent they good friends? no?
Yeah this makes no sense at all. This whole thing is confusing. I'm going to sleep. Hopefully more answers tomorrow.
As I said before, Tracy is a player playing for attentions and play with emotions. So if he's traded, what is he going to play for. Where is his hope to pass the first round? At least, if he's sticking with rocket and plays much better after surgery, he's still possible for a couple of year extension.
who would even want him even if he doesn't have surgery? he sucked this year. he'll probably be traded next yr anyways when his contract is more attractive.
