No, not really, he didn't get in shape, doesn't do rehab, never warms up before games....come on the guy is a walking disaster, he puts himself in situations that would injure anyone.

TMac is not serious about his body, if he was, he would be in much better shape, would be serious about rehabbing and training and would have far fewer injuries.

But, he is what he is.....a super gifted player who takes the easy way out...more often than not.

I'm more "Meh" at this point.

That should have also been an option.

Out of my love for the Rockets, I've been trying to keep a positive opinion of McGrady.

But the way he's handled the past few months is sending me deeper into the "Nay" camp.

Had to vote nay. As a player I like McGrady, however, in order for us to win a championship, I believe its time to move on without him.

I cant believe the mob turns to lynch its former star. I am ashamed to call some of you guys Rockets fans.

Some people have begrudged him all along (antisonic, tinman) but you turncoats are disgusting. I slap each of you with a white glove. The guy is probably done and gone, have some dignity. Its time to focus on what we got.

This is the only type of Tmac thread I wanna see from now on. Simple but summarizes how we feel about him. Too many threads on him right now.

I answered "Yay," but it really depends on how this all unfolds. To me, the Orlando drama gets a pass. I mean we all do stupid things. Houston was willing to look past it. If he pulls something like that again here with this whole injury deal, he'll find that a lot of his fans will turn on him and my "Yay" will promptly become a "Nay."

well Antisonic and I are both Rockets Only Fans and we saw the writing on the wall.

I don't know about those other dudes. But this is the organization known for tough players like Dream, Moses, Otis, etc
Tmac was brought here to bring us back to those days of glory but he hasn't.

Look at Yao, he had to play in the Olympics plus all those Chinese National Team games plus he had a broken foot.

You never see him drop drama like this. Its not on me. Its on us. Sorry Tracy, but we'll file you under same drawer as the Steve Francis Era. At least now we know that he was underachieving while Steve was overachieving.

I've never been a big Tmac fan. I even thought we gave up too much to get him. I never questioned his talent. I just question his effort and heart. The guy just doesn't give it his all most of the time.

Actually I don't like his game very much either. His main talent is that he has unblockable jumpshot. Not very exiting to watch unless he is really hot.

After hearing Adelman's words about how Tracy handled the situation, I wish I could vote an extra Nay in this poll.

No, I don't blame Adelman for this. The greatest coach of all time couldn't handle a flake like McGrady. JVG couldn't do it either ("I'm probably gonna retire and play baseball...").

No matter what, he chose his ego over his team and fans. He should have retired with class.

He was and has been better than Francis. I hated giving up Mobley, but still happy with him overall.

The team lost some heart when Francis left, though, so I have mixed feelings.

I'll give him a slight Yay.

I agree although I must admit I voted 'yea' out of loyalty, above all else. We all have our grips with T-Mac (as do I) but this is his first season as a Rocket where his play didn't justify or enable you to overlook all the annoying habits and tendencies he has. Overall, it was a good trade and good for the franchise. It just stinks he couldn't deliver when it counted the most. I still have to vote 'yea' though.
