We've lost to the Kings, 76ers, and Raptors in a short span. JVG beat the teams he was supposed to. Adelman looses 3 of those games in a stretch. People are frustrated and worried. And they have every right to be. I hate the typical overreactions after a lose. But in this case... Let the people vent.

And overreactions are exactly what we're witnessing. Trade T-Mac? T-Mac's a quitter? Fire Adelman? Re-hire JVG? This is textbook overreaction.

You're right, our JVG teams would dominate inferior eastern teams. We'd never lose to those teams. But is that supposed to matter when we're playing in playoffs in the WESTERN bracket? In the long run, did our ability to consistently take care of business against lousy teams help us at all? NO. Another 1st round exit.

I'm not going to care much for beating/losing to some bad teams early on, just like I didn't care before. The only thing I care about is RESULTS, as in the END PRODUCT, not our performance in freaking December.

If it's April, and we're still hovering around .500, and we don't get out of the first round again, then let the overreaction begin justifiably.

Fair enough. You make a good point. But like the priest from the movie Signs my faith is wavering. For the first time since Barkley's last season. Something isn't right, to make it worse. Had me kept JVG. Its hard to argue we would be on the outside looking in. But yes. Its early. Somewhat.

Yeah,I talked to a huge huge Yao fan in ShangHai who watched Yao's play since 1999,and he said this:T-Mac wants to encourage Yao and support Yao.

Did you guys notice something from this interview and Tmac's previous quote?.. It seems like Tmac like Adelman's system while Yao don't. From the way Tmac saying Yao is the franchise player, it really sounds like the club is more willing to satisfy Yao even if it go against Tmac's will.

The biggest problem of this team is TMAC's lack of defense. If we carefully check shooting percentage of those players whom TMAC defended, we will know answer. Of course, this may be coach's fault. I suspect that Rick never paid attention into defense training. This team's defense really sucks.

Statistically and in every other way, last year Yao was the #1 center, this year Dwight is #1 by far.

Yao's defense is not great this year either. His player consistently shoots over him, guards pass him for layups and he IS NOT REBOUNDING! Someone tell Yao that he has taken the no foul approach too far.

Don't blame TMac for everything. He is involved in every single offensive play, he is asked to create, score, penetrate, dish etc etc. he is human geez, not a robot.

Considering that you YOFs complain about Yao not getting touches (which is again not TMac's fault but that Yao gets taken out by double teams very easily) shouldn't he actually play better defense????

IF ONLY YOU YOFs WOULD MAKES AS MANY EXCUSES FOR TMAC AS YOU DO FOR YAO....

Why anyone would listen to one single word that comes out of that phony guys mouth is amazing.

Last year he comes into camp out of shape, and no one tosses him under the bus.

Tmac is a lousy leader.......I am getting sick of him.

    Who ever said Tmac sucks?

That is what most of the frustration is about, he COULD be an all time great, but instead he fades at the most inopportune time.

Tmac is just an amazing athlete with a head full of jelly beans.

The guy is just not a leader......and he quits.....HE FRICKEN QUITS......

That is the biggest problem of all......his passive aggressive attitude, that when things go bad, Tmac seems to go....."Whatever, I still got my money" and bails.

Sigh, ok lets play maybes. Maybe TMac can never play with the same intensity the whole game the way MJ or Kobe does.Maybe TMac is not as great a slasher as you want him to be? Maybe he tires out faster because his body is different than Kobe's?? Just like Yao tires out faster than Shaq??? Maybe this is as good as TMac will ever be? Maybe its not TMac but its you?

Let TMac be, it is unfair to blame him for every single thing that happens with the Rockets.

I think t-mac is overrated as a slasher, and as a dribbler in general. There are times when he gets to the lane, but the lane is usually wide open. But if someone is D-ing him up, T-Mac can't take him off the dribble, because his first step isn't quick. He has such a good jump shot though. Once that goes, that could be trouble.
