He never lost weight. He had been getting fatter and fatter ever since we first got him. That can't be good for his knees. Kobe Bryant alternatively dropped his weight immensely to prolong his career. T-Mac didn't. 2004 TMac: 2010 TMac: Now TMac:
It's common for players to get fatter as they get older. Its happened to everyone - I'm pretty sure the Kobe of 8 years ago was skinnier than the Kobe of today.
Didn't Kobe go through a phase where he added 20 lbs to his frame in the off season to see how it felt. That was around 05-06 I think and that would put him 30-40 lbs bigger than he is now. I think at point he was up around 230 or so. Kobe also admitted at the olympics this past summer to weight around 185-190 lbs.
i thought most of us agreed during tmacs early years that he should get stronger...so his body and core could withstand the season and he could work the post.
LOL I remember when a lot of you and T mac fans were bashing Morey for trading T mac. And most of you said he's going to have a comeback season with the pistons, then with the Hawks and he will have the last laugh. LMAO! Dude can't get a minute of play time. I love it when losers are always wrong.
You forgot the Knicks. He had one or two great games and the rodents were boasting like he won an nba championship, they don't look at things as a whole. Morey should have traded him the year before when his stock was higher.
Not all players. Duncan in the lightest he's ever been. Kobe also lost weight for the Olympics and kept it off. It can prolong your career greatly. From that Spurs pic Tracy looks thinner, having knee issues tho would have made it hard for him to drop weight back then.
