Its because he hasnt though. The Magic were atrocious, and the Rockets either had old knicks playing significant roles or scrubs you might find in walmarts greeter section right now.

Wasn't until it was too late that they got it partly together and he and Yao were both injured too much to do anything.

I understand some of you guys want to take things personal but most of his career he's been on bad teams or underdogs

In the years he was in Orlando the East was a complete joke. Iverson managed to take the Sixers to the finals by himself! The fact is McGrady was never as good as he thought he was, and now he's blaming it on his team.

Iverson had freaking Larry brown and a host of players like prime defensive mutombo to play strict defense for him

    Who did orl have?

Jeryl sasser, drew golden, and john amechi...what a joke

Again, let's stop pretending basketball is a one man game...some of you people are so blinded by hate you ignore absolute logic

Iverson was backed by a great defensive team coached by renowned defensive guru Larry Brown. Iverson got to do whatever the hell he wanted with the ball and on offense. T-Mac's team consisted of always injured Grant Hill on the bench who took up a bunch of cap space and players that were no longer in the league a few years later.

Any updates? Last I heard was said that it would be a few weeks before he would get a chance to play with the team to get to know the system.

I'm assuming he might get a look in the second round.

he really took over the game today, the Lakers had no answer for him. He makes the Spurs instant favorites to beat the Heat.

Maybe, if Diaw isn't back. But I wouldn't assume he'll get playing time.

I don't think he's on the active list. So it's just like back in 2009.

Seriously, he's not even eligible to suit up? Just a pawn in Pop's FU to the guy he cut?

This is BS. HOw are we to witness his last laugh, how will he unleash anger?

    http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursnation/2013/04/20/duncan-t-mac-can-help/

To have the greatest power forward of all-time and 4 time NBA champion say this about you is an accomplishment in itself. Duncan is a legend and game recognize game.

If he's inactive for the first round and then plays in the 2nd, does it count as getting past the first round?

You take these comments seriously? What's Duncan supposed to say? That T-Mac is fat, flabby, and full of himself still?

Popovich signed TMac for the purpose to play against the Rockets. If we were matched against the Spurs, TMac would be playing immediately.

Does anyone know why he actually looked better when he first came back from microfracture. E.g) when he got traded and played with the Knicks for half a season.

He actually looked some what decent and could suit up as a very good role player.

But since then he just looks worse and worse. Aren't you suppose to get better as you recover from surgery?

I remember tmac hissing at rick adelman for not giving him lots of minutes when he came back.

Chris Webber was saying rick adelman was right.
