Tracy McGrady signing with Spurs!

Wouldn't it not count as passing the 1st round if Tracy doesn't play rotation minutes? I mean, he was on the roster with us when we got to the 2nd round with Yao too, and that didn't get the monkey off his back. Playing in garbage time with the Spurs isn't the same as being a contributor to a 2nd round appearance.

Wow! Honestly I didn't keep tabs on Tmac in China after that horrendous "his Chinese team can't make it out of the first round" thread, so I didn't realize he averaged 25 pts on 56% shooting in China.

I know people here hate on Tmac for various reasons, but I hope playing on a team with the best coach in the NBA brings out the best in him, and he squeezes out whatever juice he has left. Maybe he provides the spark they need and they end up meeting us in the 2nd round.

 

Now I really hope we get 7th seed. We'll win for sure because SA now has the curse of T-mac.

So I'm watching this segment on ESPN titled "Spurs sign Tracy McGrady," yet they spend half the time talking about the ******* Lakers. This is why I want so badly for LA to miss the playoffs. Absolute trash.

 

Good for him. I for one thought he played well enough to be on a nba roster getting good minutes. Regardless of what many say about him, tracy is a high bbiq,highly skilled player. Judging on Bernard King getting into HOF, I think tracy has a real good shot of getting in now. I wish him well.

 

So now if get get the Spurs, we'd be reunited with tinman's old hero, MerGady.

we all know t-mac lights it up with sick stats in the playoffs. i am terribly afraid of facing the spurs in the first round now.

we should either beat the lakers and hope the warriors lose or just lose to the lakers to avoid the spurs. i'll take our chances against okc than the spurs.
