that's exactly the loser's attitude: blame the team. TMAC is the only freaking star on the team. He went 0/4 in the 4th, 0 assist, and you blamed the team?

Yes, because he went 22/11/9/2/2 through the first 3 quarters yet the team couldn't do enough to pull away. he SHOULD have gotten about 3 assists in the last few minutes, but between Jackson and Scola clanking easy shots and of course the Scola offensive foul, it just didn't happen.

T-Mac has become Mr. Invisible in the 4th QTRs of the last two games.

He shows up to the first 2 quarters of every game in the playoff.

In the 4th quarter he is just "too tired" or "PUT SOME OTHER EXCUSE HERE" and then we lose.

Im sure there were plenty of stars who scored 30 pts 12assists and etc.... through the first 3 quarters and still managed to score more than a single point in the 4th.....

He should have at least gotten one more assist on Jackson's three.

Tony Brothers is a tough defender.

yes..yes.... blame the star who has ZERO FIELD GOALS IN THE 4TH IN BOTH HIS PLAYOFF GAMES SO FAR.... How rude of us... I wonder if ANY COMPETENT STAR in league history has had zero field goals back to back in a playoff series.... You would be hard pressed to find one....

btw.... T-mac's sub 50% shooting streak has reached 22 games.....

thats right, for the past 22 games, Mcgrady has not ONCE made more shots than missed...

at some point you have become frustrated.... even if he is your favorite player

TMac has flirted with greatness his whole career, but it has eluded him. His supporting casts have contributed to his frustrations, but he must shoulder much of responsibility. I think for his mental health, for the mental health of the team, and for the mental health of the fans, it is time for him to move on. I really do. Agony can only be endured for so long. The team needs a new mindset, a more durable and predictable partner for Yao, and a fresh start.

You know what, I can't stand those idiot media arses that are quick to comment how TMac quit....if you have to rebound, score, and pass, and do everything to charge up these scrubs we have, it will be physically and mentally exhausting.....and I know you guys will kill me for saying this, but Scola has made some of the worst plays I've ever seen....the only exception was the flop by Kirilenko......Scola has had trouble scoring, rebounding, and defending....the only player that is playing with a little heart besides TMac is Bobby Jackson...everyone else has gotten their manhood taken....

people blaming tmac are just idiots

    tmac had to do EVERYTHING

there is no star in this league that can do what he did for 4 quarters

maybe he should have take it easy and he would have score 10 in the quarter but we would have lost by 20

I know.... only few players in the league can score 22 pts on 9-22 shooting in a playoffs game.....

dude, he was shooting 9 for 17 before the 4th

he had no gas left...he would have score trust me if he had something left...
he gave it all...how can you blame someone that kept us in the game..if those stupid scrubs could make open shots, or make layups or even make fts we would have win

other guys just gotta step up so that we can give mcgrady a lot of rest before the 4th. It would be key in next 2 game, we gotta have fresher Tracy for the lasy 12 minutes

Amazing that he led the team in every statistical category and you ignore that.

The game of basketball is more than just about points and I have no doubts that you have never played a minute of compettetive basketball just by the way you're posting about the game.

Tmac came through all the tough injuries, so maybe Yao'll do the same?
I remember Yao missing single digit games in the first three seaons or so. Maybe he'll go back to that version of himself.

have to agree. 23 poinst maybe is not the best number for him (alsno not that bad) but when you look at his stats he had 9 asist, 13 rebounds (very important) and he played really great defense (2 blocks and 3 steals). A lot of people just don't see that.

For example Kobe was 9/26 in the Game 1 against Denver. Ok they don't play defense but they won with Kobe shoting that bad for the whole game because he got help. Bench was hitting their shots, he had Gasol with 36 and other guys were just stepping up.

Tracy actually played great for 3 quaters on good % but as I said before, you can't play 1 for 5 for 43 minutes, not in the NBA.
