if you listen tmac says he cant wait for the start of training camp...which means he is planning on being back at the beginning of the year...i think its vital to get training camp together ....to get the chemistry and rotations down

They were talking about the 2 TM interviews on 610 this morning, and said how TM was getting a lot of criticism from everywhere and that had to bother him. One of them says 'So I guess he probably go to clutchfans much, huh?' lol

Can you blame him? HE worked his ass off during the offseason, and keeps getting hurt. He also said "his guys" (the rockets) would beat the cavs in 7 games.

I seen it also I don't blame him. If nagging injuries came up for 2 years any good player would feel the same.

Another thing is everyone is going crazy on this board and McGrady said IF there is a Cavs- Lakers series

Hah... worked hiss ass off! Yeah right... Tmac worked about as hard last off season rehabilitating as Lydsey Lohan works on being Miss Congeniality. Tmac Lazy doesn't know hard work. The truth is most people under most situations will do what’s easiest to avoid hard work — but we aren't talking most situations. The NBA is were the cream of the crop rise to the top. Many a talented player has never performed up to that level. ANd Tmac is quite possibly the most talented of that bunch.

Tiger Woods is a talented Golfer but thats not what makes him great. It's the hard work day in and Day out and that desire to be the best. There is no doubt in my mind Tmac could have been one of the best ever. I am talking Michael Jordan best. He had that much talent but he is the laziest star NBA player with as much natural talent to ever play the game. He is lazy and egotistical. And while he will still play in this league a few more years just off his talent. He will go down as a loser in my book.

So what's the motivation for his sudden love of interviews? I'm assuming this interview could have been a chance to correct his earlier statement regarding what he said (or didn't say) about the Rockets' playoff chances. I guess the Rockets' management may have requested he do that?

Certainly, he is at least partly trying to notify other teams about how healthy and valuable he will be next season so he can get the heck out of Houston and fool another team into paying him the big $$$.

There has always been no doubt in my mind that if McGrady had not been born with a body made to play the game of basketball he would still be living with his mother promising her that he is going to get a job any day now.

Drama queen. He isn't part of the team in the playoffs now, so he's getting his pub somewhere else.

The last thing our team needs is the distraction of McGravy on the bench this weekend.

After the playoffs this year, if Les Alexander says "we will continue to build around TMac and Yao" like he did last year, I am going to be real, real, real disappointed. The "horse" is dead, don't beat it, bury it.

True. Also, if my aunt had nuts, she'd be my uncle. Absolutely no doubt in my mind about that.
