can i just put something in perspective here? and if things i remember are wrong, do correct me. we're pissed with Tracy because he was sucking in games in that year with Ron. we wanted to trade him and secretly listened to offers. Tracy heard about it, and in an attempt to stay on the team, he made himself untradeable by getting a doctor to confirm that he has to go for a microscopic knee surgery. hence, Tracy continues being a rocket past that years tradeline. next year, while still not 100%, Tracy wants to be inserted into the game. Adelman doesnt, Morey trades, Tracy continues to be playing less than 100% in NYK. Now hes in detroit, possibly as healthy as he can be playing at his current skill level, or hes still less than perfect health and his game is at the corresponding level. either way, hes no longer a concern to this team. if we're this pissed at Tracy, what are the Denver fans feeling about Carmelo? Tracy at least pulled his little shtick because he wanted to be a rocket, Carmelo just wants to leave Denver to NYC, doesnt care if the Nuggets offer to get better by adding better players, he will leave anyway. and what about the ppl here who wants Morey to trade for Carmelo, do you guys hate Tracy? or does it not matter these players actions as long as it benefits our team?
you are very right. people on this board hate tmac for wanting to stay on the team. i was expecting everybody to be happy and just like him more, but was i wrong.
