Ariza was also at the game today. My brother-in-law has some seats on the 50 yard line 10 rows back on the visitors side of the field. He shot a couple of pics of Ariza during the game and sent them in a text during the 2nd half.
cool info. i have been trying my hardest to keep up to date with T-macs status, and from what i have gathered, he has been working his butt off to get back to elite form. I am looking forward to this season, and i think we will b surprising alot of people this year.
"I'm back - ready to go" is not very descriptive, it could be a couple of things. 1) The ready to go could be describing his knee --- perhaps he can do light practicing with the team that may extend past preseason. 2) The ready to go could be describing his ability to play immediately. I had to go based on some interpretation of his tone of voice, his body language, etc. He didn't look me in the eye and say "ready to go" ...but at the same time, he did not hesitate.
i think he's ready to go from day one in training camp. He's been testing his knee daily for weeks now, and supposedly the pain is pretty much gone. We haven't heard of any ste back over those weeks. No, "knee swelled up, had to take the day off" or any thing like that. So im pretty sure he's knee is good. Especially since he does repetitive shooting drills AND he does a lot of dunking drills, so he's testing his knee with full force. His basketball full court endurance may need some work, but he seems to already be playing 5 on 5 so it shouldn't be too bad..he'll use training camp to fix that
Unfortunately this is not the whole story... I too was at the game and after taking a leak I noticed that someone was sitting in the stall. Because it's a habit of mine, I opened the door to take a look and what do I see...? TMac is stuffing his his face full of ice cream, with several empty bowls strewn across the stall floor. [Sigh]... Man, and I thought we were turning a corner with him. Mods: Feel free to start a new thread with this post, as I am too humble to do so myself =) On a serious note: MAN THAT GAME SUCKED TODAY!!!!!!
Wow, McGrady is so cheap. The dude eats up half our salary and the dude cant even buy a ice cream? This guy is so selfish and needs to be kicked off the team. I can't stand his selfish acts.....
i think the key thing here is that he said he was done in chicago. he hasnt made this decision all by himself, remember he had everyvody back in chicago working with him and his doctor was with him daily to check up on him.
