Nah, Wizards crowd is for sure worse. Miami is probably about the same as ours. I'd put our comfortably third worst or tied with Miami for 2nd worst.

I mean if the thread i about tmac bashing the rockets or the OP bashing any current rockets then it's very likely tinman bashes Tmac which should be perfectly fine to most rockets fans

 

I have read on this site over time at least 20-30 posters complain about his posting, pertaining to this. So it is what it is. It's not the end of the world. I just asked him to please stop. He has made his point quite clear already, over said years.

Even when they had Lebron, that crowd was garbage. Least deserving city for that big three.

... It's really sad, though, I had real hope that the Red Rowdies could improve things, but it's been over a decade, and one can still argue that the 16K capacity Summit crowds were still better. Maybe it came down to arena acoustics and seat pricing, though. Who knows.

 

To be fair, T-Mac said it would be tough for the Rockets, not that they would lose. It still hurts that the Rockets couldn't get past the first round with him, but T-Mac didn't quite have the team surrounding him (other than Yao) that Harden has. That being said Harden > McGrady all day every day, just wanted to make that clear.

 

I mean, if you say worse relative to expected then sure, but in a vacuum the Wizards crowd is way worse (source, I live a block away from the arena and have been to some Wizards games).

 

I would love to see ESPN make McGrady answer his own hot-take calls when he's wrong. That would be fun.

I was hoping that's why this thread was bumped because what kind of Rockets fan enjoys talking about TMac these days?

 

I have never personally been to AAA in Miami, but I did watch some of their games on TV when Lebron was there. I clearly remember that in 2013 finals G6, lots of their fans left when Miami trailed by a lot in the 4th quarter, then Ray Allen hit the three to tie the game. But back in Lebron's time, it's still not as quiet as TC. And their fans didn't allow an opposing team's fan to taunt their best player so hard that their best player lost his composure.

It's unfair to compare this year's Miami to Houston.

 

He would find someone to throw under the bus.

 

Or maybe he'd start to defend himself and then give up.


Like he did in Toronto.
