if the heat actually have any kind of interest in mcgrady, good for him. i hold nothing against him unlike many on this board who will never get over the fact that his body was the main problem.
he did pick the lakers over the rockets when he was still part of the organization, plus he quit in a game in toronto. if there is one thing i cant stand it's quitters.
try not to forget how he basically torpedo'd any chance the Rockets had at trading him at the 08-09 trade deadline.
This argument has brought up a million times and it makes no sense. If a team wanted him for a salary dump then they would not have cared if he could play. If they actually wanted him to play a simple physical would have revealed he was not healthy.
Except Tracy basically self diagnosed himself, right. The Rockets seemingly had limited access to medical information or knowledge and certainly no influence on what medical decisions Tracy was going to make on his own. For all we knew, while clearly not 100% healthy, Tracy could have "limped" through the rest of the season and been healthy the next year. Who knows? What is clear is that Tracy torpedo'd any chance to do anything and blindsided the organization.
I think he was seriously waiting for their phone call. hahahah, I am surprised this was not released by A Stephen Smith.
LOL, nice one rookie.. BTW... What number would he wear??? #3 is gone... and so is #1... #0 for the amount of mins he's gonna end up playing after he signs??
Honestly, for a guy who's career has hit rock bottom, this would be the best move McGrady could make, if they want him. They might not.
