[Tracy McGrady] I could've won championships, I just never had the pieces around me.

He's right but not the best thing to say out loud.

They still beat the Lakers without McGrady if Yao was 70%.

Artest did not make any such excuses.

I still remember going to Game 6 as if it was yesterday. That team had so much heart.

Lmao, he did not need excuses, he went straight Brokeback Mountain on Kobe in the showers and promised to join Lakers, can't believe you guys forgot about that just to stick it to the other SF.

Artest was just as eager to jump ship and join a power house.

    1 year rental.
Metta fake peace. Rest is history.

Dawson was a mediocre people centric GM but was a core part of the championship FO (no Steve Patterson... fans at the time didn't know better).

Yao worked his butt non-stop and never knew how to say no...unless SNAP means No in Chinese.

Tmac didn't respect conditioning, practice, or his back until it all came crashing down with the first injury. He rehabbed some of his Orlando prime back, but that killer who attacked the non-stop basket died.

Those drives became feints and it's like he always thought twice before committing on going in.

Back pain can do that to you. Prob why he only turned it up during playoffs and rested up from practice.

Ultimately sad that if he put the work in during the off-season and hired a trainer who spotted it or helped correct his play to be less demanding, we'd be singing a different tune about him.

But yeah, our depth chart was ****. Gassed Yao and Brokeback TMac couldn't run the distance
