Good for him, I'm glad that the recent events with his business life hasn't blinded his eye to real world issues. Good job Tracy.

Why is the Garm getting so emotional when it comes to jokes about Tracy? I understand this is a disaster but a few eye rolls and everyone goes berzerk. SMH

Anyhow, we should commend him for what he's doing for them.

When you consider what was "normal" there, it would now take a hundred years for them to get into the 21st century.

It's truly sad and is the overriding issue here compared to the T-Mac drama. They are in really bad shape over there.

    Wow, I'm really impressed clutchfans.

I haven't read this much T-Mac love since... we got him!

Props to T-Mac, great person off the court when it comes to helping out.

This. I hope that others who are so financially fortunate will also step up in the face of such a horrible disaster.

I've read that the death toll is a projected staggering 100K +..that's the entire population of my city of Beaumont.

    Wow, really?

Go into a hole, and never come out of it. That can be YOUR donation to the Haitian people.

Props to TMac for this. I would donate too, if I had the money.

i just had flash backs of freshman year philosophy (shivers), i personally disagree, yes it is a deed that benefits someone, but to me it is not a "good" deed because it is selfish, a selfless deed is a good deed.

^not referring to tmac, he has shown he cares about others through his out reach programs and his trips to darfur. very proud to have tracy and deke as part of this organization, even if it is over.

Say what you want about him on the court, but he has done many good things with the money he's made from basketball. That is how you should really judge him. Not for what he does on the court, but what he does off the court. At the end of the day, basketball is just a game. Darfur and Hati is as real and as serious as it gets.

It's too bad so many people here have irrational hate. I don't even hate what McGrady did on the court much less criticize him for his actions off.

This. People forget Tracy donates early and often. Most people don't even remember how Tracy made it a point to "adopt" the kid who was shot by the Beltway Sniper, and had tickets for him for every Magic game.

Long ago, Tracy McGrady made it past the first round of acting like a decent human being. Kudos!

I don't know. How much can he donate to "page not found"? :p

Those people in Haiti are living a terribly sad lifestyle in incomprehensible conditions to you suburban know-it-alls who are sitting here bickering over TMac. I think it's wrong that people don't seem to be paying this issue any respect.

Just because that earthquake didn't happen to you doesn't mean it didn't happen. There are thousands of people worried about their families and their livelihood. Hats off to Tracy for donating, although it will only be a drop in the bucket. Those people are going to need a lot more support from everyone that is willing to give it.
