i read your post man and it was a good effort. Don't worry bout the haters on this board you can't convince them. i agree with about 90% of what you said. good post
Tmac did that all for his reputation...his all about the show man...i don't think he really cares if we win...in fact i would not doubt if he wants us to lose beucase it will make him look worse that we got past the frst round without him..... Last year when Yao was out fo rthe season, he sat on the bench for every plaoff game..traveled with the team and was in tears after they lost to Utah and got knocked out...and he wasn't even part of the series!!!!!!!!!!!! That is what you call a team mate....NOT TMAC showing off a few smiles pretending liek he cares to try and save what little rep he has left in this city...
The fact of the matter is, if he wasn't cheering on his team from the bench there would be 4-5 threads complaining how he wasn't supporting the team.
With us up 3-1, it's time for T-Mac to bust out with his "it's wonderful to finally be in the second round" quote, just like in 2003.
Despite all the crap he has given us this season, I would still take a healthy McGrady (even last year's version) over Ron Artest.
No doubt about it, his playmaking is exceptional. Only thing I hate is when the guys stand around doing nothing while he creates. Von Wafer has been a breath of fresh air however.
yao was injured last yr when we had a great opportunity to advance to bro. injuries are part of the game.
The fact we're up 3-1 with no real playmaker is commendable. Hopefully the Rockets can find one next year and we can see how good this team really is.
I'm pissed more than anyone that T-Mac isn't playing but if it weren't for this guy then we probably wouldn't have been in the playoffs the past three years, IMO. and if we were it would be as a 7th or 8th seed. He was the leader of the team. Versus Dallas 3yrs ago, he was the team. Same with two years ago when our bench couldn't score. Last year he got some help but Utah was just on fire. Obviously it kills to see such a talented and highly paid player sit on the bench for a season but hey, **** happens. I can't believe people boo him when they show his video on the screen at the Toyota Center. I can't understand some fans
