Hate to burst your bubble of hate and ruin your comeback but we only ran the motion offense when RA got here. How can he kill an offense we didn't run and how can it be responsible for him not getting out of the first round for the last gazillion years or so? More importantly, was he a ball-stopping cancer last year as well when we won it 22 games in a row overall, 10+ games without Yao? How about the years before during JVG's time? As one poster already said, Tmac messed up this year, but to ignore his overall body of work and call him a cancer/iso him away from the team over an injury riddled season is just plain idiocy. Everybody deserves a second chance, why don't you wait until his final year is done before you start hating on him?
Whats more distracting, McGrady in a knee brace who cant do anything even if he wanted to, coming and going. Or Rockets management announcing that McGrady must stay away from the team and is off limits to the facilities? I think it'd be kinda weird putting a cloud of wonder over the organization to why they'd exile him Can't sweep everything under a gigantic virtual rug.
You guys really think the organization doesn't want him around? Remember it was just a couple of weeks ago that Morey and Tmac sat down and "talked things over".... My guess is that at that meeting Morey said, hey Mac, if it ain't too much trouble could you at least ACT like you are still interested in this team? We are paying you 21 million.... I see nothing wrong with him being at shootaround. He will likely never play again as a rocket, and that's too bad. I hope he makes a come back, but I doubt he will.
I went to HSPVA my freshman year of high school and then transferred to Willowridge (logistics) Later on that year, I made my way back up to HSPVA to hang out with everybody. That whole morning, it was like HEY...GREAT to see you...how's everything? uh...Remember when..........yeah and ummmm how long are you staying again? LOL...I think that's how it probably felt for Tracy at that practice. I wish I could get a clip of Bill Walton saying "Stay away big man...Stay away" on a sidenote.....I'm talking 88/89-I graduated in 91-when the 'Ridge was a national powerhouse across the board (football, basketball, marching band etc,) I can't claim em now

As for the topic, i'm all for Tracy showing up to practices, as long as he's on schedule with his rehab, he should be able to visit his teamates. He is a rocket still and there is high chance that he will still be one begin next season, why not try to build as much chemistry for next season? Anyone who says T-Mac doesen't want this team pass the first round is completely ignorant. Hasn't anyone observed who's the first one to back up his teammates when they get in any kind of scuffle? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O21Nw3UxbE0 Even reefer who wwas rumored to be talking smack about him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LNMHPliBuw I'm not saying through the gas to the flame and form a fight but that's just some examples that Tmac has alot of love for his team.
Conspiracy Theory: Tracy tries to screw up the Rockets' locker room chemistry so the Rockets wont pass 1st round. Just imagine the Rockets get pass 1st round and what will Stephen A. Smith say about T-Mac.
There is a difference between an inefficient ball stopper and a guy who finishes strong.... Ballstopper vs Finisher. Tmac is a ball stopper....Maggette is a finisher. Efficiency ladies and germs it is all about efficiency. DD
For what its worth, T-Mac ranks #19 in Career Player Efficency Rating, #3 in Active Players and #6 in Playoffs PER. http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/per_career.html Career Sure, like all stats, they are probably skewed in some way. Still interesting to say the least.
I hope Tmac rehab well and get healthy soon. I also hope Tmac won't play a single minute in playoffs this year. I further hope Tmac won't play a single minute for the Rockets for the rest of his career. I am sure he can pull out some nice stats next year. But don't get fooled by his stats. He is a bad team player when it comes to offense; he is a bad player when it comes to defense.
I am talking about personal scoring efficiency...Tmac has never been a great percentage scorer, he is a volume guy. I want efficient players... DD
So what your really saying is We need to get rid of Artest, get rid of T-mac and bring in someone like Granger, and Magette................ Granger I can completely agree on, but Corey? Like you can say all you want about T-mac but the one thing he did well was play well with Yao. Pass well and work well with him in general. Magette? you have to be kidding yourself if you think he'll work with Yao efficiently
wait a minute, which team? that would be too bad if he is still on our team, I just want morey to cage him, waiting for his contract to expires. maybe he still wants to earn a role in our playoffs squad in order to put an end to his virginity for second round.
