I hope you are not saying build around Yao! Get rid of him too! If you get rid of Tracy, you have to let Yao walk as well. You can't replace just one main piece you have to replace the other half of the foundation as well. mac stays, Yao stays and we accept that the orginization is going to see if this is really the foundation of a championship team. Obviously Rafer was not the problem, he is playing for a championship, because his big man is dominate defensively and offensively. They both need a match lit under their a****
Kg only got his team past the first round once before the championship year. P.s he also had two other hall of famers on his team. Yao will make it to the hall of fame for being an asian ball player thats it.
Yeah I understand its a business that's why you don't want to get rid of Yao ! The money he brings in from asian fans is insane.Thats what gets in the way of people beliving we will win a championship with him as the foundation. So you are totally right. you guys will base every move the rockets make intelligently and say hey lets trade him and get into contracts that don't expire till 2012. But our guy Mac his contract comes off the books next season wow.You guys call alot of shots right.
Oh god. Both Kerry Kittles and Matt Harpring came back from the surgery to average more points and play in as many games the season afterwards. It's a myth to say only wing players can't come back. Look, T-mac's stock is at it's lowest right now. You want to be a smart business man? You trade assets at their peak value, not their lowest. T-mac's value peaks before the trading deadline. Not now. So you guys who argue that it's just business are lying to yourselves. It's not smart business. Smart business is to wait. Which is what the Rockets are doing.
Oh yeah, I just named TWO wing players to come back, not ONE! And how many wing players have had the surgery? Maybe 4 or 5? Please. Give it up.

1st of all, you seem to be taking this stuff too personally and dont understand what an opinion is. 2nd of all, Kerry Kittles microfracture surgery FAILED. "Morgan advocates a different operation (osteocondral autographed transfer system, or OATS) and performed it on the former Nets guard Kerry Kittles when his microfracture surgery failed." oh yeah, and Kittles missed the entire next season, he didnt come back the next season and play more games. how many games did he play in the 00-01 season? he played 0. do 5 seconds of google research if ur gonna say an answer, especially if you do a 2nd post gloating about it. makes u look even more childish than ur posts. so that leaves us with matt harpring. forgive me for not putting all my faith in TMAC's return based on matt harpring's results. but its nice to know ur a fan of the Utah j*zz.
oh yeah, and harpring had to have a 2nd microfracture surgery cuz the results from his 1st one didnt allow him to play back to back games. so yeah, u really burned us on that one too.
Cassell and Spree are both making the HOF???? (overall point taken, but the Hall isn't THAT easy to get into)
Wanted 2 cry!!! Its crazy how guys could love a guy then hate him real quick. Its sad that there will be no more finger wagging and the way he went out was a horrible seen. Its just plain sad how injuries hurt this team sooooo much that the organization and fans can't live 2 see one healthy year.
microfracture surgery lists for the google-impaired: http://www.sonicscentral.com/microfracture.html http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=75318 at the bottom of the sporting news one, it says "Matt Harpring: 29 (June '05) -- Averaging 25.4 minutes, the fewest since his second season."
I hope cassell gets consideration, he's been underrated for some many years. cassell brought leadership and championship experience to every team he goes to and transforms his teams to contenders. I know for sure, if we had cassell and sprewell/mobley instead of tmac, it wouldn't take us this long to make it to round 2. cassell knows how to play with a big man too, he played with the VERY BEST ONE.
Tracy Mcgrady is a broken Toy. He was all shiny and what not when we got him but placing any faith in him whatsoever will only result in an unconditional letdown. Set the bar as low as you can for him fellas'
ROFLMAO.....the reason I asked that question is that the answer is "no one".....lol.... People seem to think he will defy the laws of nature and come back strong, when in fact he has a history of doing exactly the opposite. I can not wait for him to be traded, I hope we get another hard working rotational player that can penetrate from the Wing position..... DD
