No, I'm not like that. I'm true to what I hold, I just thinks he needs some recognition in awards before he can surpass Kobe, Kobe is still in his prime.

I stand corrected. It was the all-defensive first team nods I was thinking of. Pippen made Jordan's job a lot easier (and yes, Jordan got Pippen a lot of jewelry).

TSlack took a lot of shots against the Thunder (the Thunder??) and made a decent percentage of them for a change. He's not that good of a shooter and on average, he's going to score a lot less but still take a lot of shots.

I will absolutely be off McGrady's back if he continues to play with the effort he had last night.

I will say though, it will not change the fact that he quit on us for 6 weeks. That I might forgive, but not forget.

He did score more points last night, but I still don't see him running the offense. He went to the basket early which I do like to see, but it was one on one effort. Pretty much all his shots from the outside were pull up jumpers. (They just happen to be falling) There have been a few games were he has played within RA's system and it's a thing of beauty. I don't think he has bought into the system and most nights this hurts the team. I don't mind him taking the game one on one sometimes. That's what superstars are suppose to do, but this should be situational not the norm.

    Why do people say this?

Tracy didn't play with anymore effort last night than he has all season. He drove to the rack to set up his J, and when he took the shots they were falling. He clearly had more lift on his jumper which is the reason for him putting up 26 points. I don't see why anyone would be all giddy about this game, Tracy saw some of the worst D he's gonna see all season.

40% shooting on one of the worst teams in the league plus no D and Durant outplayed TMac easily and it went down to the last play and we started an appreciation thread?

The bar is really low for TMac nowadays.

That's like saying Durant out played Yao.

IIRC, Wafer was on Durant 90% or so of the game. And TMAC and Durant didn't even play the same positions. (F...and G)

Durant had 1 more point than TMAC.....how exactly is that being outplayed hands down? .40 shooting vs .50. Close stats....

Whatever, I for one am glad to see him being more aggressive and hitting his shots.

With the way this team is built, we need to have this guy going.

    Go ROCKETS.

He absolutely did. Torrent the Cleveland and Toronto games. Last night he was engaged. It has nothing to do with the points he produces. He can put forth effort and have a poor scoring night. That's fine. The crap he was pulling in December wasn't.

But I'm sure plenty around here will develop amnesia and reinvent history should McGrady get his act together for the rest of the year.

If you watched the game, it was wafer guarding him.

TMAC, surprisingly did a pretty good job on defense last night, knocked the ball loose numerous times.

Him being on durant all night would have been a nightmare, considering his knee condition.

um WRONG. you can't look at it that way. tracy was on durant sporadically here and there, but when wafer was in the game, wafer was on him.

You guys are going to keep it up with the name calling and insulting Tracy until he will want nothing but out of Houston. He is hurt and when the knee stiffens up he just cannot play. Some of you will keep squealing to get rid of him and finally he will be unable to stay in Houston. Then he will go someplace and get healthy agian and kick ass. The you guys will be squealing even louder. He is hurt and some days he just cannot move welll. Encouragement works a whole lot better than ridicule.
