this is childish. a good performance leads to a Appreciation Thread.

what happen next? what if he mess up next game? just ask for more tmac bashing.

same apply to Ming and Artest.

tmac is doing what he pays to do.

I don't see a problem with showing the players your appreciation after a well played game.

So why complain? The last 3 shots were rather meaningless; before that he was 6-12 for a very efficient shooting night, and he facilitated numerous other scores. The nine assists (and the 5-6 others that were botched) were even bigger than his 24 points.

I have been long frustrated with the needless McGrady-bashing, and I was glad to see him hit back at his critics yesterday, both on and off the court. Freaking microwave generation with 5 minute memories.

I'm pretty confident that Tracy stopped going after the tripple double after Rafer's and Yao's miss...yet there are some writers that think he was going after it all game...

When Tracy is on, healthy, & motivated he's my favorite wing...the decision making...the ball hawking on offense & defense...the effortless 3pt bombs...

Stamina has been one of his biggest issues in his career...I hope when the going gets tough, he's able to play at the same level.

I haven't looked at the numbers so someone may prove me wrong, but I think TMacs FT shooting has vastly improved so far this year. I still believe in him and expect a big year from him. Our team will get healthy and some of the nay-sayers will be on the TMac bandwagon soon enough.

He may not be, but he's the biggest difference maker on this team. The record don't lie. Top that with the fact Yao plays better with tracy says a lot.

    Great OP.

It's been a while since I was going absolutely crazy for T-Mac's play ('05 playoffs vs Mavs when he was the best player on earth and 13in35), but I STILL BELIEVE! I believe in T-Mac, it's our year.

How about getting behind our team?!?! All NBA players get paid to play...can't we still praise them? Especially our own?

Fans are allowed to bash their players but not praise them? That sounds kind of messed up if you ask me.

I'll have a "tmac is doing what he's paid to do" attitude about this when the Tmac bashers decide not to call his season over 10 games into the season.

I'm not complaining... I just don't want to act like he had a perfect game when he went 6-15. If I don't point it out, someone else will think that I'm intentionally leaving it out to make it look like he had a better game than he did. He still had a great game, especially for his first one back

    I'm on your side dude.

I'm wondering if ANYONE can tell me how many triple doubles Tracy has had in a Rockets uniform?
    1? 2? 3? 4? 10? 20? 30?

I'm a T-Mac fan, but let's be real here. He will never be as explosive or dominant as he was even in 2006, much less 2004-05 or in Orlando. Actually, he may not even get back to last season's level. Remember that vicious one-man fast break dunk he had in New Orleans last season? Who here thinks we will ever see him do that again? I'm not holding my breath. The fact that he can still put up numbers and be so important to the team's success speaks to his considerable skills, but the athleticism is gone.

I know he has had 1...but for some reason I think the answer is 2.

Is this thread really necessary? This is a player supposed to do when he's make 20 millions a year.

give him time, he can still do that. it wasn't like he went up near the rim to dunk that v. the hornets.

remember that fastbreak v. the best defender in KG in that celtics game where he put extra english on that shot? tmac still has it. give him time.

he will never be as explosive, but he's still explosive enough.

Play good ball, and people will love you. Even Luther Head with over 50 bad games earned his appreaciation back in 1 game.

People have forgotten how good Tmac was, because he made them forget.
