yes, i was talking to my friend during the laker game, when tmac dunk the ball on a fastbreak, we really thought he was like the old-self, who is not thinking about his back all the time, and can get his body loose and flying around
    YES YES YES

tmac wouldve had 40 against the lakers if he had not missed those first 3 or 4 open shots. 38 points per game so far. i wouldnt mind if he kept it at 32 and yao kept his at 25.

I would give up my left buttcheek just to see Tmac average over 30 points again and dominate....and GET PAST THE FIRST ROUND! The guy deserves it.

I think this last playoff exit really stung him. It may be the motivator he always needed to get him to show all he can do. If that is the case, I hope he doesn't lose it after a championship. If he plays like this all year, we will get one.

i really hope it is the O spacing thats making t-mac play like this. if thats the case then im all for yao getting out of the low post. we are a much better team when t-mac is playing well than when yao is playing well. thats a fact. yao can still get his points from the high post too.

i rather have tmac avg a consistent 25-27 ppg and play 35 min a game (he's playing 40 right now but they have been v. good teams). yao gets 23 on 35 a game also.

guys, we have depth. the first 2 games showed tmac is STILL a top 3 player in the entire league. but we have depth and balance for a reason. so use it. if we play the great teams, then unleash tmac :D

also im glad he played out of his mind, but where was this in the playoffs, when we needed it the most? i'm only hoping it was because he had to involve others that he couldnt score as effectively last season. i'm not going to say the old t-mac is back. you all know he will take games off, like tonight probably.

not necessarily. we need yao to dominate the jazz or warriors if we do face them. they're gonna double and triple tracy more and more as the season goes on and they see how he's back to scoring mode.

we need scola to really assert himself on offense. he did that v. utah but he really is capable of double digit scoring.

and we either need rafer to start making his shots or francis step in.

JVG's offense. he can't do this b/c he had to be the playmaker. have u seen him run 2-3 plays in a row and look for his teammates? right now he's only passing when he's really doubled.

also, conditioning wise, he can't do this last yr and run up and down the floor like that.

tmac is healthier, not worrying about the back, and is having fun. plus, it helps when u only have to do what u do best on the floor - scoring

the old tmac will never be back. that tmac is as jordan-like as u can get w/ a 30 PER, facials every game, and his head would be near the rim when he dunks.

this tmac is obviously less athletic (though still more athletic than all except for bron, josh smith and those types of players). but he's wiser, smarter, and now knows he has help.

the next step for tracy is close out 90% of 4th quarter games when we need him to. the jazz was the first game where he did that: stopping EVER jazz run there was.

you maybe the biggest TMAC fan on the board

But it was YAO last two shots in the 4th that made the STOP on the very last JAZZ run.

It's 82 game season and TMAC needs to avoid injury, this is critical to Houston. Same thing to YAO. But I do agree that if TMAC gets his 27 per game, YAO has 23, and team can manage 100 points, we are in good shape. Two stars can explode in the playoff...

i said yao made big shots if u read my earlier posts, including some big shots in the laker games.

and wow are u picky? maybe u should say that to shane battier's face when he said tmac was a one-man answer.

    Doublehh03.

Did you read that Clutch is limiting us to 4500 posts per year? You have 13 posts left until February. You better start using them wisely.

I am not picky, I jusr respond your comment on TMAC made every stop on JAZZ push, which is not true. And YAO is true superstar. Back to 90s, he would be top 10 great center as well. totally different style of game and rules on the court, man-to-man D only..

And what the hell you hang aound on BBS all the time ,it's Saturday, man.

    Just kidding

He said 4500 posts per year for everyone, except for Barkley and Pippen who are allowed 2650 posts per year.
