of all the games to use are your example, the Hawks game is not going to help your case. It was a blowout pretty much throughout
While I understand people not liking TMac for various reasons, I do have to admit that threads like this at times like these disgust me a little bit. I guess the fact that we are now 11-0 with TMac and Yao together since the knee injury shouldn't matter. Maybe I should start a thread about how, while I like Yao, I hate the fact that he gets like 6 turnovers every game. Nah...that would be nitpicking
quit hatin!!! we need t-mac whether he seems to play lazy or seems to play hard. either way, he adds significant value to our team, and without him, we're pretenders! REMEMBER 13 in 35
We don't need this right now. I'd prefer a TMac playing this way than a hurting Tmac unable to stay on court. He still is a very valuable player when he plays more like a facilitator.
actually i noticed that he has began to run more and more and he actually goes with rafer on the fast breaks. Thanks. you are wrong.
the guy is out there playing on a bum knee....give him a break! he should be appreciated for being tough and going out there and playing in pain, not bashed for his limited mobility. That's why RA isn't saying anything, because he actually appreciates what T-mac has sacraficed to help us win. Too bad you don't.
First of all, the post didn't say anything about Yao. Second of all, what do you know about China? Do you know that the biggest Yao haters are in China and they are posting on Chinese websites everyday and the government has no interests in shutting them down whatsoever?
I never seen anyone go up and down the court as slow as Tracy. His man is running cuts like crazy and Tracy just jogs around
I understand people don't need this right now and you can talk about Yao's turnovers but this more serious than just a few turnovers. His defence is just not as good as the rest of the team and imo he should work on it. It would make him and our team better so it's all for the good. I'm not hating, bashing or wrong i think but i stated what i see. I understand he's injured but i've noticed it before, i'm using the Hawks game as an example since it's just a few days ago so people can remember it. If i start to talk about a game in November it wouldn't be valuable enough since he could've changed and it's not in people's minds anymore.
every you ever thought that maybe he jogs around to save his knee right now? i do think he's moving a lot slower now then he did before the injury - not just on D but Offense as well. I think driving hard really hurts and that's why he doesn't do it the first half.
I'm glad you posted, this is something we can work with. I respect your opinion and it could well be true, that's why i posted the thread. Maybe i'm the only seeing this and i haven't really considered his injury. I don't remember a lot from games pre-injury but i thought he moved the same on D, on offense i can do nothing but agree. Insightful post Thanks
I don't think this is news. T-mac takes slacks off at times, he's admitted to doing it when he was with the Orlando Magic. T-mac's heart or lack there of has been questioned a million times on this thread and by the sports media. Given all that he's still an all-star,and still one of the best player in the league when he tries; you can just as easily sight the Minnesota or Milwaukee game where he carried the team...
where in the hell have you been and how old are you 10 or 11 years old maybe, because t mac has been here for 4 years and giving you just starting to keep up with him leads me to believe that you are younger if so i understand the comments and you just now beginging to watch t mac but if you are older why are you able to post a thread not being a true rocket fans
No problem, I don't think you're being a hater, just wondering why you weren'[t considering his pre-injury play. Before the injury back in November, he was hustling pretty hard. He's clearly limited but wants to be in the game, and is being more of a passer and using himself to get teammates open. The Defense still focuses on him. But he's saving himself for the second half. If he goes full on I think he'd be in too much pain to play the next game.
Good point and i believe you're sure about his pre-injury play. Sorry about that then, hope he steps it up when he's back in full gear. I would love to see him aggresive on D.
His on ball D has always been better than his offball D. For now, he seems to step it up when on ball and take it back down when off ball. If his play-off weakside D is like his weakside D now, then you may have something.
What about Yao's inability to play the high post? What about his inability to guard quicker PF's/C's? What about his inability to consistently beat fronting? What about his stamina issues (which are still an issue)? You can dissect both of our stars games...they are still stars, and you cannot expect either to be perfect. And no one on this team's offense is as good as T-Mac's, IMO they should work on it T-Mac is probably the most well rounded and overall best player on the team...he has his flaws, but you can pinpoint more things about the other players on the team which they need to work on than T-Mac. For the record, T-Mac is on and off with his defense. Sometimes he plays terrific defense (I loved how he played D in the 2nd half against the Blazers), and many times he will run down the floor to block a layup attempt on a fastbreak.
