    Trade T-Mac

There i said after a game that we've won, so people wont say that i'm overreacting after one loss. We're not gonna win a championship with this guy, he's proved us wrong twice. I'm a real rockets, cause i dont like players that doesnt represent the franchise correctly. People on this board who continuously find excuses for T-mac are T-mac fans, not real rockets fans.

    Thanks.

Exactly, thats what I said. You live and die by the sword. That goes with Yao too, with turnover proneness I mean. But atleast he's a usually more dependable source of consistent offense. But anyone that can shoot would've taken that shot.

...and about the 7-23 shooting......yeah.....just be prepared for those sorta thing. Heck, Dirk only had 13 against the Raptors last night.

You hate TMac. We get it. How about posting other than some iteration of that thought.

    I'am agree.
We're not gonna win a championship with a guy that think this a individual game.
    Tmac please:
    - play defend
    - attack the basket
    - stop shooting so many jumpshots in a bad night
    - give your best
    - increase your assist

If T-Mac comes off a double screen on a curl and catches the ball and is WIDE OPEN he should shoot the darn ball. That's what the play was designed for.

I am losing more and more respect for the guy. Its hard to defend him now and cheer him on

Hes only about himself. Shows up only half the games and really just lacks the heart or desire to push his game and our team further. He will take the credit when they win and pretend to take the blame when they lose. Remember "it's on me!" and "this is the most important game 7 of my career"? Well his body attitude never displayed any of that. It's all talk and that's all he has ever been. I hated seeing him smile after that ugly and lucky win last night. The only fire that he showed last night was that dunk but then he was back to his lazy self in the 2nd half...shooting jumpers and walking up and down the court at times. He just wants to get hot and start nailing jumpers. If he cant do that on some night, it becomes really hard for him to get in the game.

    Tmac is T-WACK!!

He had one of the best games of his career in game 7, going for 29/13/5...do not blame him for that loss, especially since he is the one who brought the team back from a 16pt defecit (thans to JVG's plan to force it into Yao first half).

It was lucky that the Pistons were even in the game with 15 FT's missed from the Rockets. T-Mac SHOULD have been smiling...they won a hard fought game against one of the league's elite.

His playoff averages are staggering, it's really hard to truly place the blame on him, especially in his Orlando days. T-Mac was stranded in Orlando. He averages 28.8 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1.3 SPG, and 1.2 BPG on 43% FG shooting. In fact, the only case that can really be made was our series versus the Jazz, but even then, there were plenty of other factors contributing to our loss, like Yao being manhandled by Boozer, Okur flopping his ass off, every Rocket role player building a house with their bricks.

If you look at his series' on the Magic, it's really hard to say he didn't do all he could to win those.

how foolish it is to only look at stats......................dude choked down the stretch and overall didn't have an impressive series....I'm sick of the excuses being made for this guy...what will it take to make some of you people that he will always be a loser as long as he has to "lead" a team to victory......

Are you kidding me? "Increase your assist"? This isn't T-Mac's job in this offense, yet he's still leading the team in assists. That's one of, if not, the biggest problem on the Rockets. We need a true PG bad. But you know, for you, I can make the same kind of arguments for Yao to be traded. We'll never win with a soft center like him on our team. He will never dominate the paint and take over games. He's not a superstar. He turns the ball over too much.

Tracy and Yao are not the problem. We have three offensively incapable players in our starting lineup and we are lacking a PG that does his job, which is make things easier for the other players. Rafer is not that. Francis is not that. James is not that. We need a true PG or we need one of ours to start playing like that.

Although I think Ming the King's post is a bit off, I think yours is too. Rafer *is* a true PG. Albeit, not a good one in the eyes of many Houstonians. Rafer's shooting is stablizing to his career averages, which is nothing spectacular. He certainly does more than the handing off of the ball to Tracy after midcourt. Go back and watch the games where Steve started the game. That's exactly what he did.

Anyone can bring the ball up and get the offense started and set. Rafer happens to do it the best at telling people where to be. He also happens to be the best at pushing the ball up, and pulling back when there's nothing there.

I'm not saying we couldn't use an upgrade there, we can use them a lot of places right now. Rafer isn't the BEST true PG, but he IS a true PG in the sense he looks to pass first, really directs people in the halfcourt set, gets steals, and has a good assist to turnover ratio.

I guess we have an agreement here that the Rockets need a decent PG. RA is a backup PG at best in any other team.

Rowdie Brandon.....we're both on the same page.

After three years of watching TMac.....you must be fu*kin blind and think that he'll lead us to a championship.

Watch the last 5 minutes (Game 7) of last year's series and you'll see that he just folds under pressure and didn't want or didn't know how lead our team to a first round victory. When the game got tight and was up for grabs he didn't want to take the big shot and deffered to Yao. I have no problem with Yao taking big shots but TMac is supposedly our leader. Yao was being pushed out of his comfort zone but he had to take the shots cause TMac b****ed out.

Since he is still wearing a Rockets uniform, I guess it's easier for you just not cheer for the Rockets. And since this is a Rockets site, I guess it's easier for you to just go posting somewhere else.

The problem is the 43 percent shooting and not getting to the foul line. Anyone is capable of getting 43 percent from the field. Name another contending team that had a guy chucking 20 shots a game at a 43 percent clip without getting to the foul line.
