It is just his demeanor that gives this impression. This is afterall the NBA league and he is human. You will have off days, Yao has to carry the load when TMac is sucking, thats how it goes. Yao is too easily taken out of the offense by double team. If we don't fix that, we cant win. He is too much of a liability if he is not scoring. TOs, Rebounds etc.

Neither has led. Since we agree what's your beef? Your mad because people are calling out your favorite player? They're calling out Yao too. You sure like sprouting that record around like a medal. It was under a better coach who is no longer here. JVG isn't here. Get it? Adelman is. If Yao were to go down it wouldn't be an automatic under Adelman's chaotic and defensive-less system that the team could be able to recreate the magic they had under JVG. Especially with the lack of three point shooters this season. We could continue to implode and turn into the Orlando lottery team where Tracy tries to outscore the other team by himself. I'm thankful for what JVG and the TEAM did while Yao was out last year but this is a new season. McGrady and Yao have never had to lead until this season because JVG was the leader all those years. And right now both McGrady and Yao are doing a poor job. But I'm hopeful that will change.

lol who cares about JVG, TMac led us 20-12 WITHOUT Yao, while Yao couldnt do that with the same coach. You are now saying JVG saved the rockets while Yao was out??? haha unbelievable. He sure took us to 13-40 record without TMac. Great coach! TMac led, period. Yao never did.

I agree Yao has to pick up McGrady and his teammates when he's/they're not playing well. I know he has offnights. But you can't have an off night effort-wise when you make $243,902.44 every game.

And besides, McGrady is the only one on the roster that can completely shoulder the load when things are going bad. He's the one that makes everything go. So the criticism comes with the territory, and it's up to him whether he wants to do those things. It's up to him if he wants to play hard. If he doesn't want to do these things every night, he will be called out.

Well if he led? Why can't he lead now? Did he forget over the summer? Is it because Juwon is not here? You give TMac all the credit last year but when the team loses you don't want others to do the same. I thinks it's impossible to have a conversation with you because you hold McGrady at such a high pedestal that you make excuses for him but don't do the same for the rest of the team. Yao doesn't do this ... teammates are not making shots ...but McGrady's ill-advised 1-5 shots dont' hurt the team. Your double standard ... nows that laughable.

Don´t know if this has been posted yet. I´m too lazy to check all previous posts.
But there´s a nice article on hoopsworld about T-Mac quitting.
I can´t post the link cause it won´t let me.

ROTFLMAO.....I never talk down on T-mac and he is one of my favorite players, but I really thought he quitthe last game......I wont say trade him or anything, but he definitly quit onb the rockets last game...Only because the play before halftime, after he grabbed his ankle, he ran the full lenght on the court and jumped and blocked the shot and landed with no problem but then still act like he could barely run...that bs....I know everyone saw how he jumped with no problem but, he started limping again as he ran the other way...

Well the fact that Tmac is getting paid millions doesn't seem to matter to him.

I am giving credit to TMac because well his record IS 20-12 without Yao and we ARE 13-41 WITHOUT him. As for blaming him for losses, sure! But to say TRADE HIM because he was the only reason we have been losing the last few games, now THATS laughable. No one else is being blamed for the losses the way TMac is, thats why there is no need to defend them? DUH

Ok its half time in the detriot houston game and the guy is just amazing...why would u want to trade him and quit on him? I mean Yao would be NOTHING w/o him...he just makes yao sooo much better than he is.

If he played like this each and every game, there would not be a problem....but he doesn't.

I love McGrady but GO TO YAO DOWN THE STRETCH. He punched on someone's head and was abusing Rasheed on the black....

Why the helll was he shooting those jump shots?

    Wait a minute.

How did McDyess roll his ankle but come back and finish the game? I thought when you roll your ankle you are done for the night and you have to go back to the bench and laugh as your team loses.

    What gives, Antonio?

Because he was getting good looks and making them at a solid clip.

And he did give it to Yao...many times.

nothing he couldn't have come back for if his team was dependent upon him to win. The thing is, in order for us to come back from a big deficit, we needed t-mac. Detroit didn't. He didn't roll it that much more than t-mac did. if you think otherwise, your bias against t-mac is causing distortions. However, i still think t-mac should have come back.
