Not sure what kind of attitude it would take to embarrass me wrt James; he's not playing smart team ball yet. Although Francis can certainly pick-up his game, I've been impressed with how smart he's played. No one on the court should be upset with his approach.

I've been saying this 4 the longest now......tmac is a hoe......I might boo him 2nite at the game...seriously a tweaked ankle????....I use to tweak my ankle multiple times in street games and I still played through it....it's not that bad......it actually feels better to play through it..it only hurts when it stiffens up................

I can't believe he said that....this is similar to his "it's on me speech" and then after we got beat his "I was exhausted...I had to do so much....I need someone else to help me create...I think I'll go cry now" speech......Tmac is a hoe.

Tracy "Fools Gold" McGrady! The only move Morey didn't get right this off season was not sending packing for someone with heart. If there is one thing that the people in Houston don't like is a Heartless player. I'd rather have a average player that leaves it all on the court. Of all the all star players in the NBA how many choke up like T-mac. How many time do you see him jog from one 3 pt line to the other just to shoot a three? The NBA has many star players that get double and triple teamed. How about Kobe? He is the only star on that team, does he not get doubled? He beats the double and triples by breaking down the defense and getting his teammates involved. Tracy does not make his teammates better, except for maybe Chuck Hayes and that because leave Chuck normally to cover Yao. Tracy doesn't break down a defense, he gives the ball up the second the defense comes or shoots a three a few feet from the line. He does the little head fake to jump up and shoots a bad shot. The reason I call it a bad shot is because he's so streaky. He seems to think he can make any shot from anywhere, bad shot. That's the easy way out or maybe a injury. Tracy is nothing more than fools gold. Tracy "Fools Gold" McGrady. It's Time to send Tracy packing for a player that has a little heart.

At least stick w/ the argument you started, ie Tmac doesn't get as much flack as KG. Now you're going off on a tangent w/ MJ.

KG has always been criticized for his lack of success in the playoffs. Even w/ lousy talent surrounding him. I don't know what hole you've been hiding in. Same w/ Tmac in his Orlando (and now Houston) days. But no one will ever say KG didn't play 100% every night even during some of the most miserable Minnesota days.

"hahaha"....yeah you're a jackass......anyone who has ever played any form of ball knows that you can play through a tweaked ankle......Tmac just opened a big can of "quit" the other night......he could've easily got back out on the court, but he chose to quit......

If it's a playoff game, he would play. We're talking about a regular season game, on the road, second half, team is down big. And T-Mac was clearly not moving properly. There really isn't much to gain from him staying around, and he could potentially aggravate the injury.

T-Mac was listed as "questionable" for tonight's game by the Rockets trainers. If it was no big deal, why would there be any question as to whether he'd play today? Why did he miss practice yesterday? Wait, let me guess. It's all a big coverup. Come on, now.

Fault T-Mac for half-assing it in the first half. Hell, you can fault the entire team for that. But I'm not going to blame him for leaving the game. In that situation, it was the appropriate thing to do.

The appropriate thing to do at this point in the season is to play through a tweaked ankle like he did a couple trips down the floor later when he went for that block. He jumped off the ankle he "tweaked" and got up pretty high. No pained expression on his face then. But after he comes down and has to go ALL the way back down the floor, oh yeah it hurts.

Notice how nobody came to his aide either? He was limping like a pansy back to the locker room and nobody gave him the time of day. Wonder why? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

EXACTLY......this team is in a miserable state right now and as a leader with a tweaked ankle you need to play through it to send a message to the rest of your guys.........losses like the one the other night are the type that can really break up a team...and it did....now everyone is coming out and pointing fingers....regular season or not you HAVE to get out their and play through a tweaked ankle...............

That attempted block doesn't signify anything about his injury. It was a nice effort on his part to attempt that block. Just because you can do it once immediately after the ankle tweak, that doesn't mean you can continue to do it the rest of the game.

And no one was helping anybody that game. That was kind of the problem. Everyone was playing in a malaise, without a care for what was going on.

    Exactly.

I'm sure it hurt at the time. But if it hurt that bad, he wouldn't have kept playing through it, look fine on some trips down the floor...then suddenly remember that he twisted his ankle and need to go to the locker room when his team needed him the most.

This is nothing new with him though. He's a drama queen. He gets attention from getting hurt, so if he over-exaggerates and gets on camera because of it, it's like it strokes his ego or something.

Or, maybe he thought if he continued to play through it the ankle would loosen up. Maybe that didn't happen, and he decided it was for the best to rest it. Doesn't that kind of thing happen all the time in basketball, particularly in the regular season?

You're just pissed that the team is playing badly, and you need someone to focus your frustration on. I get it. But our problems in that game go well beyond what T-Mac was or wasn't doing.

yeah durvasa, but one of the main reasons we are doing so poorly is because of tracy mcgrady and he deserves A LOT of the blame......tweaked ankles are not bad...it is possible to play through them even if it does cause you a little pain.....athletes play injured all the time with far worst injuries than a tweaked ankle......people have been fed up with tmac for a while, but recently he's been really exposed for what he truely is.......a cupcake.

Hey guys remember that game vs the clippers when Luther hit the game winning 3?

T-mac didn't even have much of an excited reaction, he just stood there...as if he wanted the glory of hitting a game winning shot.

    Its somewhere on youtube.

I am sure you are the one who has been hiding in a hole, if you know how to read, no one here said KG was never criticized! I am saying KG was not criticized as much as TMac, rightly or wrongly. Sigh, your post itself makes my point.
