This is news to me. I knew McGrady was in the top five, but THE highest paid player in league?!? Good news is that our team payroll looks relatively healthy.

And lol at Kirilenko...2 more years left on his contract! Utah will be paying out their Jazzholes for that POS. Karma is great.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I remember seeing 20+ million last season. Did some type of insurance kick in?

Considering next season's landmark free agent class, that may the the most valuable expiring contract EVER.

that site isn't legit for salaries, www.shamsports.com is a much more accurate financial site. and that has kobe making more tmac, as well as JO making more than T-Mac too..he still makes ridiculously alot, but he's not the highest paid player in the league.

    i think at least..

That list doesn't look right, I thought Arenas was making serious bank as well.

I don't care what his salary is -- this past year, T-Mac proved he's #2. In the elementary school sense.

He is the best player in the world when fit, so it made sense to offer him that much money at the time. He'll be back and become the best again.

Both sites have Kobe making exactly $23,034,375. Yet they differ in McGrady's salary by almost 1 million!

Anyone no where they get there info from?

when super stars sign big multi year contracts, the total amount isnt divided evenly between the years.

so it could be like 23 million one year and 24 the next.

Yeah he is guaranteed serious cash. They have him penciled in until 2013/14 were he peaks at around 22.3 million. But isn't the world supposed to end before then?

Funny, but I would take AK47 over TMAC right now.
