At least the kid plays defense and hustles. Not only that, we got the W. That's doesn't happen very often of late when TSlack is in the game.

This thread should be locked up to save you from further disgrace, but if you intend to become immortal, I say go for it.

I'd start a "Tracy apologists own up here" thread but this whole thing is just embarrassing.

Does anyone else think we're seeing Tracy in meltdown mode? He's humiliated in the game against Milwaukee and he starts conjuring phantom injuries. I feel kind of bad for the guy.

Im just making the point that sometimes a team can still win games without a certain player, but it doesnt mean theyre a better team without the player for the long run. There were people that said the rockets were better without yao because they played more uptempo but all rockets fans know that is BS.

Look, no one knows whats truly going on, but one thing is for sure. There is something seriously wrong with mcgrady's knee. For people to claim they know whats going on and know that he's just faking and being lazy and its his fault...thats just plain arrogance.

Wrong. If there's something wrong with McGrady's knee why haven't the professionals been able to find it? If there's something wrong with McGrady's knee why are his people blowing smoke about season ending injuries and microfracture surgery when nothing has changed with his knee? For people to claim that there is something wrong with his knee is just blind idol worship.

He just made you look like an idiot and you're still carrying his bags for him. For Christ's sake.

I guess im a little more willing to believe someone when they say theyre feeling pain as I have had surgery performed on my knee about 3 years ago and its still giving me problems at this very moment. I could only imagine how it would be playing professional basketball with little to no rest....I believe mcgrady when he says theres something wrong. it sure as hell aint right. He hasnt looked right all year.

It was a momentary twinge. Being humiliated in public is never a good thing, no matter how much you make.

You're right. At least he gets to go home to his millions and the prospect of never having to work another day in his life.

Don't you think it's a little suspicious that this MRI is coming after a game in which McGrady humiliated himself? Don't you think it's suspicious that rumors of season ending injuries and microfracture surgery ended up in that Channel 2 story even though the MRI showed no change? Who do you think got that into the story?

Hmm, because Tracy McGrady is actually "Channel 2 News"
    <br>
As far as his direct interview goes, he said nothing of the sort.
Nice attempt at making him seem like an ass, when he clearly isn't though..

Are you insane? Wafer is specifically taken out of games because Adelman knows he can't play D. He hustles driving to the basket, but his defense is sorely lacking. Hence, he never plays in close games.

Watch a Rockets game or two you might learn something.

The team management is doing damage control to save T-Mac's trade value by saying he is fine with that stupid knee, while T-Mac is being desperate by the recent mounting pressure caused by his hilarious performance or that missed dunk or whatsoever. T-Mac is just being naive and is looking for some excuse for his bad performance, also, tring to buy himself some time by kidnaping the team to announce his knee problem. By doing that, his trade value is massively reduced and other team managers are frightend to make bid for him, which make any deal impossible and make T-Mac happy. Great strategy!

When the deadline pass, I think the team would be forced to play T-Mac and hope he can put some good performance to increase his trade value, and that is what I am afraid to happen bc that will hurt the team. I honesty believe T-Mac will try to perform after trade deadline but that is not gonna happen bc he has lost that athelism. So in the end, a lose-lose situation!

Finanlly, please, cut the "we cant go nowhere without T-Mac" crap. T-Mac has consistently prove to be a first-round nightmare and even quitter in anyteam. I do not believe that T-Mace can make any difference this season and miraculously take the team to the second round or deeper, I just lose confidence in this guy. Merely thinking of this guy make me wanna puke!!!!!!

So WTF, cut T-Mac out and play the rotation without him and see what the team can achieve, then we can talk about if where we can go in the league!!!!

    Read the article.

"Dr. James Andrews, generally regarded as the premier orthopaedic surgeon in the country for this type of injury, will review the MRI before a final decision is made. Andrews advised those close to McGrady, that a microfracture surgery should only be used in a career saving situation."

The guy or somebody in his camp fed disinformation to Channel 2 News. Interesting how the Chronicle was much, much more cautious.

Wafer can learn D. What he does that McGrady doesn't is he tries hard, on both ends of the floor. If he's racing back to cover an open shooter he's hauling ass.

I watch every minute. I also ran stats that show that the Rockets play better defense without #1 than with #1. Does Wafer play D? Yes. Does he get lost on D? Yes (that's what everyone is referring to). It still doesn't cost the Rockets as badly as when #1 is in the game.
