This is professional basketball. Trying hard isn't good enough. You guys slam McGrady on results, yet Wafer gets torched more than anyone and he's great. It's not like Adelman is a strong defensive-minded coach, and he still pulls him. This guy would never have gotten off the pine under JVG. If you want trying really hard without results, become a WNBA fan. They try hard.
So how is it that the Channel 2 new report saw fit to talk about a potential season ending injury, or microfracture surgery? If you actually go back and read that article you'll see that the Andrews quote about microfracture came from somebody "close to McGrady" or something like that. He fed Channel 2 news a line. He doesn't even have to go to that much effort with you.

You're claiming to be impartial? Put down the kool aid and back away. Here's what Channel 2 news wrote: "Andrews advised those close to McGrady, that a microfracture surgery should only be used in a career saving situation." Is the "injury" season ending? Nope. Is it career threatening? Nope. Is there any way in Hell McGrady's going to have microfracture? Nope. Is there any change from the last MRI? Nope. So why mention microfracture at all? Because somebody "close to McGrady" wanted to make sure that it was mentioned. Disinformation.
tracy said at his own press conference he never heard that he was out for the season and if it was up to him, surgery is the last option. why the hell would he feed it to ch2 if he said something different? ch2 said it was someone close to the rockets organization.

When Yao was hurt, he did all the conditionings to stay in shape so that he could be effective almost immediately on the court. When Tracy was hurt, he was done. He would spend the summer doing something else and use the season to heal and get back to shape.
Badger bud, I really don't know where you got that I associated Chinese people or Yao fans to TMac haters. I apparently need to officially deny that. The thought never even crossed my mind. My too rate to aporogize joke, I explained as something I do all the time in real life. That *if* you knew me, which of course you don't, is most certainly meant in good fun. I went on to apologize to anyone I might have offended since I realized no one knows who I am and that the comment could have been seen as racist/offensive. As far as the comment of people being able to say something they type to someone's face, of course I don't mean it in a literal sense, but that perhaps people should take a step back and think about what they type in words. Is it true to who they are, or are they just spouting non-sense as a way to vent. And hey, that's all good. They can vent, and I can comment on the venting as being detrimental to the BBS which I enjoy being a member of. If someone was making a ruckus in your neighborhood, would you not want to try and keep it "nice." But I never address anyone specifically.
