Where were you when McGrady was averaging 28, 6, and 6 on 46% shooting and leading us to a 20-10 record without Yao?
I think that, out of everyone in the league, I'd like T-Mac to take those necessary-but-evil "horrible" shots. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/scdonVbC7tg"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/scdonVbC7tg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
This thread is bunk, T-Mac has one bad game and we got threads talkin **** about him. I understand the animosity towards Rafer because he is very inconsistent, but T-Mac does not deserve threads like these. I don't think I am going to go on the forum after we lose anymore I am tried of this non-sense. People it's okay you cannot win every game, we have to work out the kinks of having Yao back and also the rest of our team shot like crap except Shane.
has no one mentioned kobe?? he has horrible shot selection.. but maybe it doesn't seem so bad cause he still drains a lot them. but at least tmac doesn't shoot when he is double/triple teamed like kobe does.
What a load bs. Kobe probably takes 1-2 shots over double teams a game because he has shown he can hit them. Kobe doesn't take many high risk shots, yesterday against the suns he was missing shots he usually makes in his sleep. How many times i have i seen mac run down and just jack up a 3 with like 18 secs left on the shotclock? Numerous times. Anyhow, you know as a laker fan we criticise kobe alot but man, tmac has been playing like an mvp and you guys still whine?
Just a bad shooting night for him. Shot difficulty is relative. There's not a lot of difficult shots for T-Mac because he's that good. Like I said he just had a bad night.
Yes, Tracy had a bad night but it sometimes happens. He is playng very well. He said his knees were sore. He had 25 - not bad. But he maybe was tired and he wasnt feeling it.
This thread needs to be locked One bad night and you question his shot selection??? I bet 90% of the other NBA players wished they could even hit those shots or even be able to rise up like T does. Lame!
It's normal that superstars like Tracy, Kobe, Wade, Allen would have some bad shooting nights. They must shoot a lot of shoots, because they're leaders. But what can you do, when you are not feeling it that night? Nothing
As I told someone the other day, the one negative about Yao's return means having to once again listen the constant whining and b****ing of the YOF. I find it extremely amusing that most of them were nowhere to be found while Yao was out, yet the moment something goes wrong now, they're the first to complain about it. This is a Houston Rockets web-site. Either root for the team as it is, or leave.
Agreed. It's worth mentioning that McGrady has shot the ball much better this season than he has at any point in his career, save for perhaps the 02-03 season, when he won his first scoring title. It's frustrating to watch him have a bad shooting night, but it's not the end of the world.
What is with him and jacking up 3's? Hes tmac but he wasn't hot at all? We could of had so much better shots than those.
I agree....he puts up some bad shots...JVG seems scared to coach TMAC and tell him to be more aggressive in driving teh ball....JVG will call Yao out all the time on his turnovers but won't ever call Tracy out on not driving to the hooop....I don't know how Tracy would reaact because all JVG does is praise his game...I love tracy but he needs to stop setting for so many 3s with a guy in his face...the guy is an awsome finisher but is scared to take it strong...
Some people are disagreeing with this thread but I think you hit the nail right on the head. He takes way to many stupid shots.
are you kidding me..this site is for us to voice our opiinions...we are all fans and we have a right to call it the way we see it...that is what this site is all about...everybody wants rocket success but you still have the right to criticize...and in this case its a valid point...
