Let me remind some scholars here that this thread is NOT about what he did last night, but rather what he SAID.
So far for this season, Tmac's fg% is 43%, and it is not bad for a sg! I wish Rafer's fg% could reach 43% someday!
Then why did you bring up how he played in the first three quarters? Anyways, this does not help your case. It has already been addressed several times why this is not a big deal, and calling him a "loser" based on some meaningless comment and NOT based on how he played makes this thread even more worthless.
Exactly Super, not only did he call him out for the first 3 quarters but he left out the fact that Tmac said he didn't do well. That's an agenda if no other one ever stunk this bad. This thread is another piece of crap in the mud.
Great... another thread about what someone said, which can be taken either way (depending on how you feel about the person who said it) and everyone hops in the conversation. It eventually degenerates into a battle between the 2 opposing sides, the group that likes the player, and the group that doesn't. Some people will present facts to prove their case both ways but only the most passionate people will stay to bicker. The thread will degenerate even further until only a handful of posters will be left arguing of over some small part of a player's game and will most likely resort to hateful language. This kind of thing makes me alot more productive.
Mcgrady likes to take all the credit when the team wins and pass the buck to his teammates when the team losses. That's why Mcgrady has a lot of detractors.
Personally, I liked it when he scored 10 of our 14 points after we let them back into the game while he was on the bench (and assisted one of the other two baskets).
Wow. Now I get it EDIT: and if being responsible for 12 of 14 consecutive points when your team is folding in the 4th quarter isn't the mark of a winner, then I guess I am still stumped. Winners step up when you need them to, and that is what he did last night.
Right, because what he said has absolutely nothing to do with what he did. This might be the moist preposterous statement in this thread so far.
Really? I could go on too. I'm no hater.. brother just telling it like it is. I am talking about the 8 points against the Celtics. EIGHT. Not what I call very imposing. I understand he was double teamed most of the night but he is the superstar and it's nothing he hasn't seen before. He could at least helped out by getting to the foul line. And speaking of the Hornets.. what happened in his last game? He almost doubled his points from the game the night before (15pts) but Tmac was driving more in that game and the refs were attrocious so he gets a pass. I am NOT a hater. I just wish Tmac would STFU for once and quit with these comments year after year. It's on me, I had to impose my will, the best player had to step up so I did, it's good to be out of the first round, the rims are off at the TC, I'm tired, etc etc etc.
so if he stepped up in the 4 quarter, what do you call what he did in the first 3 quarters? stepped out? stepped over? stepped down? oh yes, we needed him in the Celtics game. he looked scared even to shoot the ball. but it's ok there are nights when you don't have a will at all.
Maybe Tmac is still playing like Yao is still in the lineup. Usually Yao dominate the first half and Tmac take care of the second.
