LOL! It is amazing that this guy has been the best Western Conf player by far and people are still complaining! But ya well, that is the nature of the league when your team loses.

But T-Mac has that effect on people, they look at his sleepy eyes and the grace he has and they think he can ALWAYS do more, never feeling like he is doing enough: it is the "awe" effect from watching him play a whole season.

On the other hand, the so-called "MVP Candidate" of the league Dirk Nowitzki is thoroughly stinking it up but his teammates are bailing him out every single game, since they are that talented. Unfortunately, T-Mac doesn't have that luxury

He is shooting 50% in the series after 4 games. 'nuff said.

Now, if you are saying "oh I know he is tired and all but he should drive in more", that right there would tell me you know nothing about basketball. Driving inside takes the MOST out of you energy-wise, you get hammered (possibly hurt) and your energy disappears even faster

This has nothing to do with not showing emotion on a regular basis. I'm saying that I find a problem in him not being angry after that loss. I can see you all have a lot of love for T-Mac, and I do too, but to always pat him on his back and say great job won't always work. He'll never read this post, but I'm challenging him to do more and play smarter.

Doesn't RR have a few "Classic Moments" quotes to his credit?;)

ya, thats exactly what happend to the mavs gaurds, when they were driving in on us over and over and over. they lost their engergy, got hurt, and dissapeared?

no infact, they got easy layups, 3 point plays, and took our players into foul trouble.

Haha, your posting near 2000 times on this website shows me you probably don't go out and play very much :D

And what exactly is he conserving energy for? This is the time to leave it all out there on the floor. And if you are suggesting that he shouldn't take it in more because he might get injured, obviously you know nothing about playoff basketball. You do whatever it takes to win.

LMAO. Finally some comic relief after a painfull loss. That is classic.

You people are overreacting about the smiling after the shot. It's not that big of a deal, seriously. They are playing a game after all.

smartie, the Mavs SPREAD the game and ALL of them contribute equally, there is no ONE guy doing EVERYTHING for them. So there is PLENTY of energy left for each of their players.

Let's see: they have 7 guys who can contribute equally, so they just take turns and no one has to do it all.

Rockets case: McGrady and Yao carry the whole load, they must score all the time AND defend the whole time

Dude, you must be a middle school kid or something:rolleyes:

Where the hell did I say T-Mac is "conserving energy"?! I said he HAS NO ENERGY LEFT. You should brush up on your comprehension skills.

I'm going to try to sleep now.
I'll see your replies in the morning.

I think that to get out of the first round requires a very high level of intensity, especially in this series, and I think T-Mac has more in him. And Thursday, I hope he brings it out, because we need it. And of course, my main point, his shot selection could be better, he can easily rip through that interior.

And the notion that he needs to conserve energy and be afraid of injury as reasons for him not to take it to the basket more is ridiculous.

Not really, we do have other players willing to ball hog, but ofcourse we go to Mcgrady(nothing wrong with that), and since he is a superstar, and when the ball goes to mcgrady's hands i dont want to hear the excuse that he is carrying the whole load. He's asked for that responsibility, and that role, so he can be the blunt of criticism. If hes gunna handle the ball 50 percent of the time, and take jump shots in half of those shots, we lose our ability to get some mavs players in foul trouble.

Point is that even though Mac does as much work as 3 or even 4 mavs, he still has the responsibility to draw fouls, and go to the FT line. its just smart basketball.

Well he didn't take it to the basket very much, so according your theory, he still had energy left. If he didn't drive in because of this energy thing, then that's his problem and that is frustrating. That's pretty stupid to say that's why he didn't take it in, I don't agree with that at all, but I'm jus pointing out your faulty logic.

Sadly you don't have much logic to understand my logic. But that's OK, you can think what you want, I don't want to drag down my IQ level any longer.

Have a good night, enjoy your hatorade, and welcome to the IL.

Something is wrong here when I saw TMac & Barry grinning. Maybe there's something we don't know behind the scene, I will be pissed as hell if I just lost a game and one game away from elimination, not to mentioned getting a raw deal from the refs the whole series.

I’ll post about what I want to post about and you post about what you want to post about. Nothing gets on my nerves more on this site than people criticizing what I or post about. So even if that’s true which it is not, you let me go.

I love TMac, but after hearing what he had to say on TNT after the game, I feel kind of disappointed. I can't help asking: who wants to win more, the fans, or the players?
