Too bad you never saw Jordan play. Whenever Jordan has to go to the bathroom after eating some taco bell, then he's "Tmacesque"
These guys all are significantly older than Durant, if he was 25,27, or 30 he'd be much better ( if he continues to be the durable guy he is) Lebron will be surpassed by Durant and if Bron doesn't get a ring, he'll be the y2k version of Dominique great player yeah but no a whole lot of legendary accolades on hand just a stat machine. The thunder i believe could win the finals within 2-3 years because they have great players to build around, draft well and very young, they're what Portland was supposed to be.
you know in lebron's 3rd year, he put up 31.4, 7, 7. if lebron can mostly focus on scoring like durant is, he'd average 35-36 points easily. dude is putting up 30 points while being the main playmaker for his team. durant will never surpass lebron as an individual player. the only way he can surpass lebron is if he wins more rings.
Agreed. I'm not a Lebron fan but if you can't respect his stats and the fact he can literally take a team of scrubs to the Finals then you need to chiggity check yo self. Durant may very well end up being an even better scorer than Lebron but he won't be the all-around player Lebron is. He just doesn't have the same gifts. He can, however, be a really, really magnificent player in his own way.
Couldn't have said it any better and I'm not even a big fan of Lebron. In an interview he said he was more passionate for being a playmaker then a scorer. Can you imagine had he focus all of his energy on offense? Its game over for everyone. How the heck he avg 30 point a game while having more then his own point guard is beyond me.

I'm not saying it's not a great feat, but you have to consider A) Who has the ball more? LeBron or Mo? B) When has Mo Williams ever been a passing PG? Guy averages 5 APG for his career and it surprises you when someone else on the team averages more than him especially when said other player probably handles the ball the majority of the time and touches it every play? Weird.
Well the streak ends at 29. The Spurs just shut him down in the fourth quarter. And Manu Ginobili did all of their scoring in the fourth.
I'm shocked so many people think Durant is close to passing LeBron in terms of who is the better player. I'm not just talking about this board but I've heard this other places too.
If Westbrook hadn't taken over early in the 4th quarter, this contest wouldn't have been close. The Thunder haven't played a good game in a while. I'm glad KD's streak is finally over. We may be seeing the inevitable late season swoon by the Thunder. They need to dig deep and figure out how much is in the well. It may take several games for them to get a second wind. Youth isn't served by the 82-game NBA grind.
I think that is because everyone is always looking for the next great thing. And KD looks to be a likable guy at this stage. While Lebron has had reasons in the past for people to not like him. Well the Thunder have an easy next two games. If they can win those two (TWolves and Raptors), they could build their confidence once again.
Seems to be the case but I don't think people should let their personality control their thoughts. I even heard one guy say Melo and LeBron are on the same level smh
