You have a culture - you are an American. That is as good as any other culture. You are also part of subcultures as well. It is possible I have the person you are talking about blocked, IDK. There are parts of a culture or sub culture that someone can dislike - but a culture is neither good not bad.
which lyrics that bad bunny sang at the superbowl did you think were inappropriate? i didnt watch the superbowl or the halftime show, but i did watch kid rocks "performance", which was highly entertaining, but not in the way he intended it to be. i dont know bad bunnys music or what his lyrics are, but here are the lyrics to the song kid rock sang at the "christian" TPUSA halftime show... And this is for the questions that don't have any answers The midnight glancers and the topless dancers The gander freaks, cars packed with speakers The G's with the 40's and the chicks with beepers The Northern Lights and the Southern Comfort And it don't even matter if their veins are punctured All the crackheads, the critics, the cynics And all my heroes in the Methadone clinics All you bastards at the IRS For the crooked cops and the cluttered desks For the shots of Jack and the caps of Meth Half pints of love and the 5th's of stress For the hookers all trickin' out in Hollywood And for my hoods of the world misunderstood I said, "It's all good, and it's all in fun Now get in the pit and try to love someone" Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up drop the boogie Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up jump the boogie Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up drop the boogie Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up jump the boogie Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up drop the boogie Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up jump the boogie Bawitdaba, da-bang, da-bang, diggy-diggy-diggy Said the boogie, said up drop the boogie (Get ready) My name is Kid Kid Rock
Who said a culture is good or bad? we are all Americans. And we all have a sub-culture within American culture. This is an incredibly diverse country and diversity isn’t limited to appearance either. Not even close. there are sub-cultures within sub-cultures
Wow. You aren’t very good at reading. Show me where I said Big Bunny’s lyrics were inappropriate. That’s twice now, bro. Keep up.
Guess again. You appear to be a person who like to create straw man arguments. You have created an argument that @No Worries "thinks all black people are the same", which you are now ready to attack. I have NEVER said any such thing. I am sorry that I have made your life inconvenient in that I am not acting how you think "racist libs" should.
you asked if his lyrics were "family appropriate". what made you ask that question? did you ask if other superbowl halftime performers lyrics were also "family appropriate"? i bet you didnt.
Triggered? No adult should even talk like that. Yes, you are. Nothing is hitting close to home. That's just you being insulting in a passive aggressive manner. I'm entitled to make my point as much as I'd like It's an internet message board. Not sure why that offends you. You got the context correct
Everyone has bad days but having met Lenny Kravitz multiple times he was low key and cool. I haven't met Kid Rock. Not really my type of music. Doesn't seem like he'd be an ******* but you never know I guess.
Grunching this thread because, whatever, it's a halftime show. Maybe for Kid Rock, his personality changed when he ran over or watched one of his buddies die in that snowmobile accident on his property. The 911 call is sketched into my brain - very tragic. Also find it funny that the older crowd used to hate Kid Rock. I remember when he performed in 2004 and got hit with heavy criticism for wearing the flag as a poncho as many considered it disrespectful. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/vfw-pans-kid-rocks-bowl-show/
As soon as I said a very common sense thing, that not all black culture is the same, like with all other cultures, you challenged me. You tried the old tired “look at whitey acting like he can talk for black people” as if that’s what I was doing. Typical white lib, overzealously white knighting for people who don’t need you to. I wanna see this same energy when a non-white poster here blatantly stereotypes white people. You have ample opportunity every day. You will disappear though. selective pearl clutching is annoying
Well you finally got something right. I asked. No harm in asking right? That’s how we learn. Also, I don’t recall another super bowl halftime show except for greenday, which I did not watch because they suck. Since you have such a hard on for Kid Rock and keep bringing him up relentlessly, I should remind you (again) that I already said I do not support him or his trashy lyrics. I even said that real music fans don’t listen to Kid Rock, which was probably not 100% correct but whatever. So, you’re just so ready to pounce on nothing, that you forget to comprehend what you read, and just go off half cocked. You still haven’t even answered my original, simple question.
I never liked Kid Rock. It all started with thinking his music was silly and not to be taken seriously. I didn’t know his politics until much later. Still don’t take him seriously. He’s a caricature.
More straw man BS. I challenged you being an expert in local black culture across the US. Project much?
