yeah you know what lets go with elegance over toughness I mean hey we're the only fans who put so much stock in logos, uniforms, and billboards, so naturally, going for elegance would be the thing to do. I mean i really miss those championship years in rodeo drive...ooops.. i mean greenway plaza when the Houston Rockets put their name on the map with their elegant, revolutionary logos, uniforms, and marketable players on NBA LIVE. Its in the elegance!
It's the year 2003. the elegant look is in. Look at the prototype of our unis. If toughness is what we've been sticking to, we should lay off it. I've seen the number of people who agree with your sarcasm, and I'll tell you one thing, they're 2 or 3rd worst in league attendance, that's what they are.
Thank you very much. I think more assembly will be required before we hit the showroom floor running. Go Rockets!!
Yup the garage is already taken by Vancouver. GM place, where the Vancouver Canucks play and for a time the Grizzlies, has been referred to as "The Garage" since 1995. It's actually not a bad nick and is not used in bad ways at all like some people here suggested it would be.
factory: 1. a building for manufacturing (championships). 2. a place where goods, etc., are produced, esp. in quanity. "The Factory" get into it.
No it will never be official..first off it's too ghetto of a name and some nut might enter their car into the building since it's called the garage. Plus rocket HATERS might call it the garbage instead of the garage.
You a programmer? Garage is a great idea...showroom sounds a little bit classier, but garage is more original, I think.
Is "The Zone" currently used by anyone? It's the type of name that allows broadcasters to come up with some cheesy lines, feeling as if they are being highly creative. For example; If the team is playing a good stretch of minutes, then they are "in the zone at The Zone." If the team is scoring points at a high-level, then some broadcaster would probably say something like, "The Rockets are in the o-zone at The Zone right now." If the team is playing solid zone defense, and the crowd is intense, causing the visiting team to struggle, then you have, "The Zone is blanketing the visiting team." If the zone defense isn't being played effectively, of course, the obvious "there are holes in The Zone right now" may be used.
