Why this us against the world attitude???
What i never understand is why every time people mention armstrong on this board, people will start saying how Europe is against him etc etc. Grow up, it is not that an entire continent is against Armstrong, Some people like him here and some don't, why would you care?

I believe that all riders use/have used dope, so Armstrong is no exepction. Not because i do not like armstrong but because i believe he used. but the same goes for the rest of the riders.

I don't think we'll ever really know the truth, but seeing how common it appears, does it really matter.

People say that performance enhancing drugs are bad for the sport. I for one could care less, because I know that most athletes use them in one form or another.

Did Lance use them? He'll never admit it. If he is not in the 2006 TdF, who cares? Does he use performance enhancement drugs before banging Sheryl Crowe? Enquiring minds want to know.

anybody catch the race this morning? Floyd Landis was late for his start. They showed an empty platform, and you could hear the beeping counting down. The announcers were all saying, where is Floyd? Then about 10 seconds later, he comes out and the starter is telling him to go, the clock has already started.

Landis finished in 9th place......9 seconds behind the leader Thor Hushovd. It's not going to cost him the race, but it would have been nice for him to win his first stage and get the yellow jersey.

George Hincapie finished 2nd by .730 seconds.
    Dave Zabriskie was 3rd

I'm a casual cycling fan, so I don't know how this could happen or if it happens all the time. Is it Floyd's fault, or the team manager?

For all of you who just assume Lance has doped because he's won so many times against dopers...is there some other possibility?

    Maybe genetics?

So before you jump to conclusions and indict someone, try some simple research.

    Honestly...

I rather watch the hotties at Memorial Park riding their bikes than Men in spandex riding their huffys.

    THOR de France. :)

He could possibly keep the jersey for a week - but the only jersey he has a shot at is defending the green.

didn't they find out Secratariat had an enlarged heart after it died?

That would explain why they kick so much ass

Because it gets reactions like yours. Push button, enjoy the rage. Try getting a sense of humor.

So we Americans can't back Armstrong with a nationalistic fervor? Better tell all those futbol fans cheering on their national teams that they are out of line.
