Tough Loss! The Spurs are good but......

    That second and fourth foul on Yao were cheap. JH committed that 4th foul.

    They basically took Yao out of the game in the first and 3rd quarter, and yet the guy was still able to manage 9-13 from the floor.

    Yao needs to manage to cut down his fouls. On the other hand, the teammates need to work better at finding Yao and passing him the ball. There is no excuse not to fully utilize a guy who only leads the league in shooting percentage by a wide margin (in February) .

    BTW, one thing that Yao has really improved recently was that he shoots the ball as soon as he catches it from the passer. That dramatically reduced his TOs (less helper D from a 2rd defender) and usually caused his defender off the guard.

    Last night, that baseline move against TD was a thing of beauty.

    I agree, the Spurs are mediocre at best, but the Rockets need a freakin' point guard, period...:mad:

    The best part about the game was that the Spurs had to make an adjustment to win. Come playoff time, this will benefit the Rockets.
