Tough Day

    Very sorry you lost Tessa.

    We lost Spike a 16 yr old Tom on Oct. 10. He had a full life and will be missed. My son is 24 now and had Spike since he was a kitten- when Patrick was 8r=yrs old. He was devastated. We tried to comfort him by mentioning all the good times they had together and what made Spike unique.

    That personality - individual traits really makes the pet special.

    It is never easy to put a pet to "sleep".

    Thanks for all the kind words.

    We haven't had a pet die at home, but I know people will either bury them or take them to a vet and have them creamated. All our cats that have passed have been creamated and we scattered their ashes.

    Man, sorry to hear that Jeff. That totally sucks, especially for someone that really loves and truly cares about their pets. Hope that you and Mrs. JB are OK.
