ah, basso and bigtexx hate Obama be cause he uses a teleprompter now. Yeah, that's so important to Americans. God man, don't you see it just makes EVERYTHING else you say seem ridiculous? If Obama has a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, basso will start a thread about it.
I don't hate Obama because he uses TOTUS. However, I fear that one of his only skills is reading from TOTUS, which is a grave concern.
Yes, his only skill is reading from a teleprompter. He got elected president because that was his only skill. He passed all that legislation because that was his only skill. Give me a break. These arguments and attacks undermine everything else you guys write.
The legislation he passed was complete crap. The American voters confirmed that convincingly on Tuesday. He was elected because he was able to energize people about his hopey-hopey-change garbage, and now we're stuck with this guy who we've found out was purely a motivational speaker, when he had the assistance of the teleprompter. He's a dud.
A real American would be eating a ham and cheese sandwich. Is Obama afraid to eat ham and cheese because he's really a Muslim?
He has not impressed me, or the American voters. Did you see the SLAUGHTER on Tuesday? loud and clear, brah
I try not to post too much in the D&D, but I'm shocked nobody has said a thing about the blatantly racist choice of video added to the end of basso's post. Not that the video itself is inherently racist, but given the context, and that it has absolutely nothing to do with the post or commentary other than the use of the word coconut - there are a bazillion other coconut videos that could have been chosen that would have been humorous and not racist.. basso, you're pathetic, disgusting, degrading and a racist.
Using a teleprompter is just like using a more hi-tech form of ones own notes for a speech. Who hasn't done that? It's fairly common for orators and speech givers to use their notes...just think about a church pastor.
http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/11/05/obama.asia.cost/index.html?hpt=C1 This is an interesting article to me on CNN. It calls the reported numbers a myth regarding the cost of Obama's trip to Asia based on nothing but a vague denial by the White House and a sniff test. Now, while I am going to say that I personally believe the numbers are in fact inflated, this seems like bad journalism.
It was also based on analysis by the CBO that inflation adjusted the per day cost for a Clinton trip to Africa (a location with security concerns much like those in India) at $5.2 million per day. It is interesting that you pooh-pooh the denial and "sniff test," but accept as pure fact a report based on a statement by an anonymous Indian source.
It's OK that reading comprehension is not one of your strengths as long as you acknowledge it and work to correct it.
