The only problem is, we need a bench that will be more consistent night in and night out. We had a good bench last season and this season we have had inconsistent help from it all season so far
Every bench will have their ups and downs throughout the course of the season. The entire team has been inconsistent but in the last 7 games they have improved. But you will not get consistent play out of your bench night in and night out.
I am not giving up on him, I personally believe a good coach that DRIVES him would be better. I don't think Harden is wired to be a winner, and you need a proven leader at the top to motivate him. DD
During the season best 5 game streak, we had bad patches of basketball everywhere. Jazz x 2 - two big comebacks Pacers - comeback in 4th and OT Twolves - 3 pt win Memphis - only good win Even in that 5 game winning streak we got exposed as well. Cavs just got the talent, discipline, and experienced enough to have us fully exposed.
Those loses are the difference between 27-15 and 22-0 Unbelievable....... completely unnecessary loses. It goes deeper than that. Against the following teams (DEN [16-25], ORL [20-19] BLK [11-30]BOS [22-19] DET [22-18] NY [20-22]) the Rockets are 2 and 8..... those teams are a combined 101 - 133...... That is simply unacceptable....... even as BAD as the Rockets have been, had they simply beat teams with a 42% winning percentage cumulatively, they would be right there to win 55 games and be a third seed.
Absolutely. To me most of it is just complacency playing down to the level of the opposition with the entitled attitude that hey we reached the WCF and if you just show up, you will stream roll these much weaker teams. And that is the difference between HCA in the 1st round possible against a favorable team like Mavs or no HCA against Spurs or OKC.
