I don't ever remember Brad Miller being a double double guy under the Kings even with Adelman. Now that he is 34, it's even less likely.

Draft day trade. Meaning it would either:

    a) Involve solely the 14th pick straight up
    b) Be a bigger deal and involve the 14th pick and other picks/players

But in both ways, if its a draft day trade, then the 14th will be in it.

Now do we want to trade the 14th pick for this pick? I say hell no!

If we could let David Anderson be the new Matt Bullard he would be worth sonething, come off the bench for a few minutes, take the other teams 4 outside and makes some 3's. He's not a bad player, he's just overmatched at the 5 in the NBA.

If this is for 2nd round pick then I'm all for it but not for the 14th overall pick.

    Or it could be

    c) Morey trading a 2010 2nd round pick to them for their 2nd round pick in a previous draft, if any of the Timberwolves 2nd targets are available when the Rockets pick.

It's a SHOCKING option. My gut tells me option C is the most likely.

Rebounds bolded before points--he's been pretty close, even his first year in Chi-town.

    Deke could grab a double-double at 41.:

Sat close to Morey last night at a restaurant. He was talking nothing but basketball, they are definitely working their asses off trying to get something done.

This guy is a stud... If Morey can pull this off for cheap, it would be unbelievable. Pekovic and Scola would WRECK teams...

Do the Rockets really need one more role player? This is a band-aid for a cut that needs stiches. It may work for a moment but it does not fix the problem.

Bad defensively, mediocre rebounder. If we get his rights on the cheap i'm all for it. But if we actually have to give up anything, no thank you. He doesn't appear to fill our needs.

There is no way the Wolves trade one of the better Euro league players for just a future second. Considering that the rumor says it will be a DRAFT NIGHT deal then that means its going to involve the 14th pick.

Again the trade thrown around most has been the Rockets 14 pick for Pekovic and the 23rd. Solid deal but again it is a risky move because not only are you trading a lottery pick, but we're also losing our MLE. For some reason I wouldn't be surprised if Morey pulled a fast one and managed to get the 16th pick rather than 14th because from what I've heard, the Bucks (who own the 15th pick) are going to be an obstacle for the Timberwolves especially if wings like Paul George or Xavier Henry are available. Just speculation on my part though.

Why would a basketball player ever want to leave the Greek league?

We are not trading our first lottery pick in a long damn time for a 31st overall T-Wolves selection in 08.
