that's what i thought i saw. looked like he sought out the defense when he had a potential big return to the left. also, what was that delay of game call on that punt with 1 on the clock? did the rules change during the game? given that that punt landed at the 5 and stopped and the following punt went out at like the 22, that was pretty big.
This game is kinda boring. I want to see long runs, and long throws, and pinball machine scoring. I got none of that **** man.
so is espn's clock just way off or something because newton just ran that play a full second after the play clock hit :00. given that it was 3rd and 12, that's huge.
Unfortunately, I have to pin that on the Oregon sideline and coaches in the press box for not being mindful of that fact. Should have been a delay of game. Instead the drive continued.
yeah, i mean the officials were apparently so vigilant on oregon's punt that they called a delay of game when there wasn't one and now they just completely ignore a fairly easy delay of game call that could have set up 3rd and 17 vs 1st and 10. ridiculous. oh well, just ends up costing oregon about 20 or so yards of field position.
Oregon's been outplayed, but I think if it goes to OT, they win. Question is, can they go the length and score?
Ducks D has fought. The offensive playcalling has been Kubiak-esque and really hasn't done them very many favors tonight, though...

i think that run on 3rd and 3 needs a "not sure if serious" picture. complete joke of a play call given the asswhooping oregon's offensive line is taking and the passes that oregon just completed. they got dominated so bad that one guy tackled both guys involved in the read.
