Wheat flour tortillas made directly from HEB bakery, FTW!

I rarely eat flour tortillas unless it's from my grandma or it came with the plate at a Mexican restaurant.

I'm going to make fajitas in a few hours. I'll buy both, but I am going to focus on corn.

I picked flour because they're much more softer, and usually are easier to chew.

Do most people here not know that you can eat them on their own?
Uhhh... when something's in it, it's no longer a tortilla, it's a taco. The question would no longer apply.
    Buy them from H.E.B.

    I recommend the "butter-flavored" freshly-made tortillas.

Leave the corn tortillas for a few minutes longer, and you'll make tostadas or break the tostadas into chips for dipping into a good PICO DE GALLO.

Flour tortillas don't do as well as corn on the grill. You're better off warming up flour tortillas on the skillet.

    On corn, white or yellow?

Why does mexican food have to be difficult?

I was at a home depot and saw a Mexican couple trying to figure out what they wanted for dinner and they agreed upon Mongolian stir fry.

I would choose WHITE. Yellow is less Mexican and is usually sweeter. White corn is usually what most Mexicans will eat in Mexico.
Don't you mean "Why do Mexicans have to make picking their dinner so difficult?", huh? Seriously, at a Home Depot?

Everytime I go to the local taqueria/taco truck the white person ALWAYS asks for flour tortillas. I wonder why? Because flour is similar to the bread that they eat with their fast food cheeseburgers?

i mentioned earlier tex-mex cuisine favors flour tortillas....so anyone who isnt mexican probably will choose tex-mex over authentic mexican, since those places are usually bigger or more popular. All they get there is flour, so by the time they got to a real mex place all they know is flour...

Kam, i forgot to mention you should have probably picked up the smaller corn tortillas, as they're more popular now, but personally i think you can fit about the same and eat less "empty tortilla", which doesn't fill you up as quickly.
