Only six guys this year are averaging 23 or more ppg. Durant Melo Kobe Lebron Harden Kyrie And only 11 guys are at 20 or more ppg. http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/scoring-per-game/sort/avgPoints
The Pau trade was horrible because Marc Gasol had no value when he was traded. Sure he blew up afterwards but the reality was that the Lakers got 2 rings for Kwame Brown and the equivalent of a low first rounder. On the other hand, the Gay trade was a great trade for Memphis. Personally I think Toronto got raped on that deal but if Gay plays to his true potential for the remainder of his max contract then maybe he could be worth it. Also LOL at anybody suggesting Rox fans regret trading Gay for Battier. If anything we regret trading Battier for Thabeet.
Grizzlies werent going anywhere with Pau. They would have been stuck in Mediocrity since Pau is obviously not a leader in the NBA. Pau = Robin, and cannot lead a team on his own but makes a TREMENDOUS 2nd or 3rd option
We traded Battier's expiring for a pick that turned into Motiejunas, they mad us take back Thabeet's contract as price for it though.
Don't know if it's been posted in this thread, but screw it. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WK7lIjFsGvg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I'm glad the Raptors won. I hope Gay starts to improve again, if he plays well the Raptors will win. If the Raptors win, the cost of James Harden becomes so much cheaper.
Rudy Gay does it again. What a clutch player. Leads his team in scoring and hits yet another game-winning shot on the road against a very goad Indiana Pacers team. Another tough night for all the Rudy Gay haters. SamFisher on suicide alert, lol.
Good to see Memphis continues to show front office ineptitude. That's why **** franchises stay ****. Waste top picks, don't utilize players correctly, give out bad contracts. Only a couple more years before they're scowering the lottery again. I almost feel bad for fans of such a horrible team. Almost.

Yeah he hit the game winner, the guy is clutch. But his efficiency was still crap this game. 9-25 for 23 points. If he was more efficient the Raptors wouldn't even be in that position. Props to Rudy though on the game winner
