That team is so legit in 2k. Play Rudy at the 4, Ross at 3, Derozan at 2+Lowry and dunks/3's all day!
I think Rudy may be getting a "homey boost" from working with his BFF Kyle Lowry. Also, after a couple years of trade talk and "not worth the contract" talk, it may be liberating for him to get into a new situation.
Played with them on 2K today for the first time since the trade. Really fun team to play with. Had a Rudy Gay dunk to put me up 1 with 1.5 seconds left. Give me some Raptor news.

Rudy Gay is a good well above average player with the ability to create shots for himself and the athleticism that will make anybody jaws drop. But his max contract really hurt his value. Yes the Raptors do have pretty bad management but when you look at their position, its hard to really get any premier player to sign there. Rarely that a highly star player sign with the Raptors during FA. So I guess they have to overpaid for an all star talent in order to have some decent talent in their team.
I think at some point they'll try this line-up, it's just too obvious. With their roster as well, playing Rudy at the 4 makes too much sense considering their glut at the SG/SF positions. The league has really marginalised post play and a lot of PFs are smaller now. Carmelo had A LOT of success playing at PF, I don't see why the Raptors wouldn't try this, besides Rudy is rubbish at guarding faster perimeter wing players.
Too bad Carderon was probably the key ingredient in that trade. If Lowry can get to his Houston shape prior to injury, he and Gay should at least make the second round in years to come, unless they meet the Heat or a team with a good post presence.
