    If Kobe or LeBron did this, a portion of their fans will back them up by saying they might be injured for real.

    Kawhi for sure has his side of story and its too bad we might never hear it. Maybe he was injured for real and the Spurs forced him to play and disrespected him

    Yea like for a guy that barely talks and shows little emotion there were a few too many exclamation points in that statement for me to believe this guy actually even wrote it

    I honestly don't feel like Kawhi wrote that. It's like 'Hey team, let's find a way to smooth this thing over.' We talk a lot about athletes being authentic to who they are. I don't think that's Kawhi. I almost in a way wish he didn't say anything. That's who Kawhi is. He doesn't say anything. That's fine. Let your play prove or dictate how you feel on the court but that wasn't Kawhi.

    Unless people have seen samples of his writing I'm not sure why some would assume he isn't capable of writing a basic statement. Talking and writing are two different things.
