The story doesn't have to be War and Peace - just something. I'd love to get more insight on Luther Head's abilities or whether Spanoulis will ever come here. Also, it's not necessarily speculating to say the Rockets need PF help and these are the top 4 targets and why each would or would not make sense. He does some of this during the regular season. Yes the BBS is great but it would be nice if the person who gets paid as the beat writer for the team could provide some insight. He does an around the NBA column on Sundays during the season so he obviously has opinions and is connected. As soon as the Rockets exit the playoffs, Feigen goes on sabatical in some cave with a do not disturb sign.
It is kinda sad to see that Mike James had started settling down with his family here in Houston. But the fact remains that this is a business and he is a pro. Also he planned to opt out next season which to me means he was willing to keep his house and family in Houston even beyond this season for greener pastures. I know folks that run most of the downtown night clubs will surely miss him.
Amazingly, no where in any of the articles do they mention that MJ can OPT OUT after this season, and that he may very well do so. It would seem to me that somewhere, some one of these guys would mention that this might be only a 1 year player.
