Dang. This really makes me wonder how much Scola is going to demand.

Colangelo is on crack. This is dumber than the Bucks contract for Drew Gooden. Gooden may be a distracted airhead, but he has talent. What does Amir Johnson have?

This guy is just like Tyrus Thomas. Athletic defender with no offense.

Actually this is great news for us. The stupid clubs are already blowing their capspace on guys like Darko Milicic and Amir Johnson. That means the only ones left would be the guys who are chasing after the Lebrons. If I were DM I'd sign Scola and Lowry right after these guys blow their capspace but before NY etc. realize there's nobody left on the market.

Suprisingly, Amir is the only the 2nd most overpaid Free Agent Johnson this summer.

Quick question, who do u guys prefer?

    Darko - 20 millions/4yr
    Amir - 34 millions/5yr

Personally i will go for Darko at least Darko proves that if given minutes he can be a decent backup and he is cheaper!

Darko's contract is cheap for a center. It's about $1 mil more in starting salary than half the MLE.

They're not teams with cap space, never were threats to sign Scola. All they're doing is driving up the market price of bigs.
