Is this contract his fault? The rockets chose to offer this for whatever reason, marketing, basketball, whatever. And he is constantly offended by the irrational hate on this board because of this? He only made 6M last season, are we really going to blame a bench player for losing in the first round? Come on..

If we can't land a PG, and we have to keep Lin. I wonder what happens if Lin then asks to be traded.... oh all the drama

It is easy to deal with. Sign Steve Blake and let him split time with Bev.

Only job Rox want a PG do is to dump the ball to Harden and then rush to corner and wait Harden to throw the ball back to him with 2 seconds left and jack up a 3.

Steve Blake can do that just fine.

Very happy for Kyle. One of the best stories of this past year - how he turned that team and himself around. and how that city fell in love with that basketball team.

Yeah ... and it wouldn't have made sense for the Rockets to pay him at that price point.

Early Termination Option. Basically, Kyle has a player option on last year of his new contract.

That pesky player option screws us over once again.

Lowry showed loyalty to the team which made him a star. If he had left after the city had given him full support ...

but where could we find another player like him? sigh

No we don't need loyalty from the players, they are just a bunch of assets:grin:
