Good for Lowry, I always admired his competitiveness, passion, and tenacity. Showed he actually cared out there on the court and its paying off now.

Yeah. Could be 14.5, 13.4, 12.3, 11.2... which is about $12.8M/year... which is a lot, but not unreasonably.

Rockets might be willing to offer Lowry similar amounts of money per year, plus no state taxes vs. high Canada taxes.

EDIT: Well, never mind I guess :). I still think it's likely he'll get $12M/year+, though.

Wow! Oh the twists and turns of free agency. This year is already crazy and the clock hasn't started ticking yet.

I've got a stricter policy on this stuff now....if it's not Woj, Amick or Feigen, I don't believe it.

Raptors sent that text out to see the reaction it would get. Judge the market, so to speak.

Apparently some weirdo is catfishing reporters with fake Raptors scoops:

It's all about the back office, not the front office.

I saw in the other thread that Morey was in Philly Recruiting Lowry? Unsure if true, and haven't seen any confirming sources. Let's get Lowry/Love and call it an offseason! I'm not exactly sure how salary would match up, but I assume a sign and trade with Minnesota for Parsons, Terrence Jones, and the NOP first round pick (plus maybe our own pick?) would make this pipe dream a reality. Maybe we could also send Lin to Toronto, as he is already hugely popular in that city. Get it done Morey!
