no idea if this guy is credible but....

Lowry knew Heat were interested, but apparently opts for Toronto's money instead. If true - this is far more damaging for the Heat than the Rockets - as much as people say otherwise a PG rotation of Bev and Lin isnt a huge weakness for the Rockets - not to mention canaan and Johnson waiting in the background to rise up to become the bench PG (compared to the PF rotation and wing bench player) Getting a guy like Lowry would be one of those luxuries. But Riley seemed to be dead set on getting Lowry there as the main piece to help LeBron out - will be interesting to see who they may go after now

I agree. The rockets already have Beverley, Canaan, Sergio Llull and now Johnson as potential options at PG. Our significant hole is at PF. We lack someone that can stretch the floor, rebound, make plays, and not get bullied in the post. Now who does that describe? #kevinlove
I like this. Let's be fair, Rockets fans. Toronto loves him way more than we do, and he's had much more success there and getting more respect there than from star chaser Morey. If you like Lowry, you should be rooting for him to stay in Toronto.
Lowry last chance for a big contract. He'd be fool to take less money just to play for contender at this point of his career.
I know this is posted in the Heat and Lowry thread but once again:

RE: rumbles Raptors already on verge of locking up Kyle Lowry ... all I can pass along is undeniable confidence from Raps about keeping him
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) June 30, 2014
